"Super insightful product that's easy to implement"
What do you like best about Hotjar? For me, the user recordings are my favorite tool within Hotjar. Seeing how our users interact with our product and the areas they got stuck on has been immensely helpful in improving the UX of our platform. What do you dislike about Hotjar? What do you like best about Hotjar? Options to view page by device type, click, scroll, and heat map. Recordings are available. Free tool is available and it's easy to adjust to different plans based on website traffic. Easy to maneuver site with a helpful knowledge base. What do you dislike about Hotjar? "Excellent for point-of-purchase and user journey research"
What do you like best about Hotjar? I find the heatmaps to be the most useful, dare I say addicting. I use Hotjar currently with a client of mine running events, so they are so helpful for us to understand the user journey to ticket purchase. How much information about our research, principles, and policies is too much before purchase? Where should certain links sit on the header/footer? Hotjar has been great!
PROS: I've been using Hotjar's free option and I like how you can record the screen of each user. This is can be particularly useful if you want to figure out the interaction of a user in a certain page as well as looking into what works and what doesn't. CONS: I never had a chance to go deep to say anything negative with Hotjar. With their free option, you're limited to 300 onscreen recordings --- way moro than what's actually needed.

Hotjar has been great!

I sometimes have problems collecting…
I sometimes have problems collecting data with Hotjar. It doesn’t always recognize forms when I’m trying to add them to collect data. I also wish this tool was less expensive.
