I have tried cancelling my subscription…

I have tried cancelling my subscription for three years as I use iCloud for my back up system now. Even when I cancelled my credit card they still managed to bill my credit card for a service I don’t use and didn’t ask to renew. It is impossible to get through to customer service to stop my subscription from renewing. I chatted with a service rep and they were not helpful in helping me cancel their service. I’m not even sure what this company even does do I think it’s a scam.

After backing up my data with them for…

After backing up my data with them for years, when it came time to restore data due to a dead computer...they turned out to be useless. Multiple duplicate directories in their system (and no way to tell which is most recent), and none of my most recent directories are in there. Customer service is useless. When I emailed them to ask where my data is, they ignored the emails. When I'm done pulling down what data they actually did back up, I'm cancelling the service. Do NOT recommend.

I have never seen anything like this in…

I have never seen anything like this in my life. I signed up for a monthly plan and the next day I forgot that I had purchased a yearly plan like six months ago so I sent an email to support to cancel and to get a refund and they came back asking me why I wanted to cancel. I replied and said that I didn’t need to give a resson and to refund my account. I received a second email stating they don’t want to see me go and that they would discount the membership and would only refund me $2. Are ...

Absolutely the worst company on the planet

Absolutely the worst company on the planet. I would give them a minus 10 if I could. They charge you for UNLIMITED service then cap you at 1TB without telling you. NOTHING about this company works. They can’t take your credit card on their site, the 24/7 customer phone number they give is a garbled recording that just hangs up on you. Truly, the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am looking for another cloud storage option as soon as I finish writing this. Just wanted to save others ...

Adware and Viruses, Bad App

Very bad, downloaded a ton of adwares, spyware, and possibly even some trojans. I wouldn't recommend this, even though it claims that it can actually store data. Also, on mac, if you open safari and search something literally a ton of random spam and scam websites pop up, either demanding to call a number for "tech support" or that you won a "big prize". Bad, bad, bad. Very bad app. Made by a ton of stupid freaks.

Difficult to understand anyone I spoke …

Difficult to understand anyone I spoke with. Unlimited means up to 1TB apparently and they don't notify you when you've reached your limit. Took me 25 minutes on the phone with two different people to realize I was out of space....WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. And two emails went unanswered.

Charged a $149 unauthorized auto …

Charged a $149 unauthorized auto renewal fee. When I tried to contact via phone I was left waiting for 45 minutes before I decided to hang up. I wrote an email. We shall see. I am going to contact my bank and dispute the charge. I have never been able to easily access my documents as there is no search field. Terrible product and terrible customer service (or lack thereof) experience.

Very frustrating and irritating experience

First, be aware that Zipcloud is NOT an Apple product as you could easily believe when you have an Imac or Iphone, especially when they warn you that if you don't enroll in their backup program you are going to lose all your data, information and pictures. I stupidly paid for a trial period they advertized but cancelled right away (in writing) after I found out it was useless for me and not from Apple. For a year they have been harassing me with pushy emails proposing me discounts and ...

I really do not believe this is a real company. It is a scam. Paid to backup, had a drive crash and now they cannot retrieve my files. Millions of excuses and no action. This is not a real company. Do not use them under any circumstances.

HIdden extra-fees

It sounds good with "unlimited" but when you start to use the service you discover that it it more limited then unlimited. You have to pay extra for everything. The upload-speed is limited and if you want it faster you have to pay extra. You cannot use external hard-drives without paying extra. There is a long list of "extras" that you can pay for so the unlimited service you payed for suddenly seems very simple and almost unusable. I am not happy.
