Brilliant Budgetting system ever!
Over the last few years I have been looking for a simple budgetting tool that would enable me to achieve my financial goals and I have tried several apps and spreadsheets before. I came across YNAB a year or so ago and made use of their 34 day trial. YNAB Changed EVERYTHING!
I’ve always cared about my finances. Where was my money going? How was it being spent? Is my income more or less than my expenditures? ETC! YNAB helped me to not only see clearly how my finances were being used, but it helped me to create a clear and realistic opportunity to budget, spend, and plan. THANKS YNAB!

I love YNAB
I love YNAB. It is like the old fashioned way of budgeting by putting cash in envelopes for each budget item, but way easier. It helps me see where my money is going and where I am overspending. It pushes me to make choices of what I want to fund. I have to make priorities. There are still some parts/functions of YNAB I don’t fully understand/use. Some parts can be confusing, but you can still get going in meantime.

The method just works!
The 4 principles work great. Overall structure behind the app, just works wonderfully. Your relationship with money improves over period of time as you start seeing debt in a different light and see your net worth increase. Lastly, the great tutorial videos and blogs help clear any lingering doubts.

Better Than Envelope System
I have used and planned on returning to the "envelope system" and the first day, we went to a concert that was cashless. So, I started my search for something similar and came upon YNAB through Nick from Mapped Out Money. It took a bit of getting used to but now I ADORE IT. Simply put, I immediately had more money to play with once I started using ynab. It gently gameifies saving and planning ahead, and where I was living paycheck to paycheck (without realising that's what it was) before, I've now been able to get ahead on months worth of bills, absorb unexpected costs and buy big ticket fun items with no guilt.
