Peace of mind after you put in the work
Really great method to get peace of mind about your financial situation. YNAB is best if you're willing to buy-in to their system: setting goals, categorizing every transaction. This app is especially great for people who have inconsistent income as it lets you plan ahead and know you have money to cover your expenses.

Literally Life Changing
Literally Life Changing This software has changed my life. It brings so many things into clear focus and lets me see all my accounts in one place. Once you have a grasp of what your true expenses are and you can, for example, set aside $20.00 a month for tires instead of having to suddenly come up with $800.00 you will appreciate the power of YNAB. Simple Program Changed My Life

Excellent customer support
Although there is an initial time investment in learning the method and the software, YNAB provides free live classes, clear online documentation, a YouTube channel with lots of helpful videos, and excellent customer support. Additionally, there are several YNAB-related Facebook groups who also provide excellent support. I highly recommend it if you want to gain a better understanding of your finances.
