Yolt has garnered mixed opinions over the past 12 months, with some users expressing frustration over blocked accounts and poor customer service. Useful - could be better

It saves me adding stuff up in a spreadsheet but there are a few things that could be improved - Budget functionality could be better - adding individual budgets automatically for instance; ability to better compare current month with prior month (e.g. by spending category) and would ideally like to be able to manually split individual transactions between multiple categories. Hopefully these will be addressed over time and it will be great but the app in its current state is still pretty ...

An app for those who only spend money…

Only shows part of your financial status as there's no way of adding saving account balances. Or maybe there's no re-sale value in savings data, so it's not worth the effort for Yolt.

Think it’s a really useful app to help budget

Think it’s a really useful app to help manage my money. I love the categories and also setting budgets. I’ll see if I can stick to them! I had to temper my excitement a bit though as it doesn’t access all financial providers I have an account or credit card with, an example being store cards.

NEW USER

I am still a new user (about a week) but it is looking very promising. Payments and transfers work smoothly and tracking payments is easy.I use Yolt on my iPhone and iPad.there doesn’t appear to be a way to view the app in landscape which is a shame.I expect in a month or so I will rate it higher. We shall see.

You won't log in again, if you lost your phone.

If you suddenly lost access to your phone, forget about logging in from a new device. You have to have your 16-digit (!!!!) code that you can access only from your account. There is no need to mention that no-one normal will memorise or even remember about this code's existence because most of the banking apps give you access to your own account in an easy way from any device. You set up your password and pin for a reason. The only thing that customer service can do is to tell you to create ...
