"Oversold on Capabilities - Unfortunately never Roll out the Product"

What do you like best? The initial individual review shows well BUT when you drill into the details of using it in a sales organization, it was NOT ready for prime time and Xactly tried to push the heavy lifting to SFDC. What do you like best? Connection with SFDC and it can handle many transactions and line items at once. What do you dislike? Seem to be some bugs and errors easily when manipulating data. The reporting could also be improved. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sales team is able to have visibility in their comp via dashboard. No longer have to manually calculate

"Huge time saving product"

What do you like best? The simplicity and user friendliness of the tool makes calculating variable incentive comp plans a breeze. What do you dislike? "Xactly does what it says, but with difficulty"

What do you like best? I do like that I can keep a record of individual comp plans in one place. What do you dislike? The reporting is extremely difficult to pull out--you can only do one month at a time. They are also very difficult to parse if you have a more complex commission plan. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Eh, again, great place to keep general information, not such a great place for actual record keeping of individual transactions

"Easy to use and clean interface but backend setup is limiting and takes a lot of workarounds "

What do you like best? It is simple and was easy to navigate and learn the platform quickly. What do you dislike? It is too simple on the backend so it is really limiting if you have any terms or structure that is not super standard. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Lack of visibility for our sales organization on their commissions, too much overhead and effort across too many teams to get accurate calculations.

"Payroll Time Cut in Half"

What do you like best? SimplyComp has been a game changer for us when it comes to our percentage based commission model. What do you dislike? The only issue I have is with the reporting tool. It could use some work in terms of how difficult it is to read. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Payroll commission calculation time.

"Spreadsheets are easier"

What do you like best? The 3rd party implementation team (Open Symmetry) is their partner to install and configure this application was good to work with - responsive and dedicated to moving us forward. Cannot say the same for the success/support team at Xactly. What do you dislike? "Good for small teams/limited comp plans"

What do you like best? I like that Xactly can handle many different aspects of a complex compensation plan, such as tiers, accelerators, bonuses, and manual adjustments. I also like the seamless Salesforce integration and being able to run many different reports in Salesforce regarding Xactly calculations. What do you like best? I had worked on Express for over 2 years. I used to calculate commissions on a monthly basis for over 80 reps on Excel before I was introduced to Xactly Express. After round of discussions with Xactly, we implemented the tool and started using it for commission calculations.
