NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE

NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE! Used this for years and it was perfect. Then the advertising got more frequent to the point of being intrusive and aggravating. Then they made you sing up for an account. Now they have disabled lots of features unless you take a paid version. I'm not a business or professional so the free version was great for occasional use. Not any more. I will be changing to an alternative, perhaps Libre Office? So sad when they hook you for free then later take the gift back.

Invasive & potentially unsafe

When you install the app, it automatically becomes the default application to open most document types (PDF/PNG etc). Sure, if you are a person who doesn't use the computer often then an all in one suite WPS offers might be fine but not when you have other applications or like the default Windows photo viewer. Tried graphing in their sheets application, it's very pushy to getting you to pay for it by showing a list of all graphs and only 1 is free and the rest is paid for. With a very ...

Bloatware/Crapware

Bloatware/Crapware, installs itself and overtakes all file types. Aggresive software. OpenOffice is a much better alternative.

I'm Hooked on WPS Office!

Here's why I give WPS Office a big 5 out of 5 stars: * Mobile app (excellent) * Does everything MS Office does, but uses tabs. * Collaborate on a document. * Document link sharing. * Only $35 per year, basically free!! * Built-in OCR feature to convert photo-formatted PDF text into editable text. * Recently added photo and video viewer, as well as an AI assistant writer * Low resource requirements, so it won't slow down your computer. * Linux Ubuntu version is completely free to download ...

Daylight Robbers

The Level of disappointment cannot be recorded at this point, They offered a 3 day Trial with a monthly based payment on it, I tried it out because I needed to sign a Document and WPS was an App that was already installed in my Phone. On the 4th day they Swiped out of my Paypal Account €40.99 for a Years worth of Subcription without even sending me an email to ask if I was interested in using their Services or what payment terms I was Comfortable with. Who are they to decide what my budget ...

The whole thing is full of spam and…

The whole thing is full of spam and popups that advertise pro versions and paid for versions, which seem to increase in frequency. I wish I'd just bought word instead... I paid for this version directly from them, and they want more money to stop spamming me...

Use the software, but do not upgrade it

The software itself is fine, so fine indeed that I wanted to upgrade it to premium, so on 17 March 2024 I paid for a one-year renewable premium subscription. However, it has never been upgraded. I wrote three times to the Customer service: the first time they asked me for my payment details, then they simply disappeared and have never even bothered to reply anymore.

Unistall it, and your adobe reader gone too

I'm pretty sure that I uninstall WPS from the local folder. The thing I don't get is, why my Acrobat Reader suddenly is not on my pc anymore too? Now, I need to download an Acrobat PDF reader for my works, but it takes too long, 'cause I'm out and using my Internet's phone. I have to work, and I'm glad that your team can fix this bug for the other clients that are going to try your application without issues like this. And also is full of spam
