I love WordPress for it's ease of use, but it makes customization difficult.
What do you like best? I like that it does a lot of the work for me. I don't have to worry about a lot of the "behind the scenes" stuff as much of it is already there and ready for my input. What do you dislike? Unless we do VIP, we have very little room to customize and make the site our own. Even with VIP, customizing isn't the "click, drag, drop" that I used to enjoy. Recommendations to others considering the product If you're experienced in HTML and CSS and enjoy being able to ...

A free program that turns anyone with a mouse into a web designer
What do you like best? I love that it's free! Though I pay for a lot of my plugins and for my themes, wordpress itself is completely free. I was able to auto install it right from my hosting page and then get to work. I created a functional, attractive ecommerce website all by myself - as someone who is tech savvy but knows nothing about coding or webdesign, over just a long weekend. Easy to use and open source so you can get unlimited third party plugins and themes. What do you dislike? ...

Works like a charm - setting up and getting a website/blog is super fast
What do you like best? Wordpress works out of the box. When you want to set up a website or a blog and you don't have any time for it, you turn to Wordpress. I do mean it in a good way, and not as a last resort. One of the strongest reasons to use Wordpress would be its no-nonsense setup. Apart from this the other reasons to use Wordpress are, its ease of use, simple and straightfowrward dashboard and the immense amount of plugins and themes it has. What do you dislike? A huge amount ...

Great for my students to get started
What do you like best? The program is very intuitive to use and even for beginners managable. I use it for my students, or better with my students. They have to create a website and put content online to present their 2 year journey at an International School. What do you dislike? Sometimes one gets carried away when it comes to the details and how to adjust things. It us sometimes confusing or frustrating for my students if things do not work the way they want it (easy and quick, but ...

Best CMS Available
What do you like best? I LOVE using Wordpress for building websites for clients and even my own websites. Wordpress gives me the ability to customize a website and create a custom dashboard for client websites. The dashboard is VERY user friendly and most clients are already somewhat familiar with how Wordpress works so the transition getting them to use it to maintain their entire website is actually very easy. The code written by Wordpress is already search engine friendly and you can ...

Great mobile app!
What do you like best? The mobile app. Hands down. This is so user friendly. I manage 2 sites and my non-company site, I only create content via the mobile app. The connectivity to Facebook and the widgets for Instagram have worked really well. As for the desktop version, it's still set up in an extremely user friendly manner. It makes editing, adding and removing very easy. What do you dislike? There is not much I dislike about Wordpress. As a matter of fact, I can't think of ...

Used in several private projects
What do you like best? Even for a simple website you can not use static HTML pages anymore - but need some kind of CMS ("Content management system", with a database at the "back end". Wordpress is one of the most popular and free available CMS out there. Its advantages: + very popular, coming with peer support and documentation (in blogs, books, forums + uses the popular MySQL database, offered by many webhosters + some webhosters will even offer Wordpress installation "out of ...

WordPress is the best CMS I have used
What do you like best? WordPress is great to put up a quick, responsive, and eye appealing website. It is great to customize your theme if you have knowledge in basic CSS. The plugins provide a variety of options for your website to customize it they way you want. Also most themes are mobile friendly which relieves a headache for non developers. It also is great to keep updating content and posting new content on your site. What do you dislike? Since I do have a working knowledge of ...

Writing and Managing My Golf Blog, Pro Golf Now
What do you like best? Word Press is a fantastic program to run a website through. It makes it easy to write articles and manage a staff of writers. The Dashboard is very easy to navigate and I'm a big fan of being able to publish articles. It allows us to easily get fresh content on the app without actually having to be around a computer to do so. What do you dislike? I wish Word Press had a more sophisticated area for analytics. It'd be nice if they could advance in that area. Other ...

Switching to Wordpress is the best thing I've done for my business.
What do you like best? Easy to manage in the back end and quick to setup. A ton of plugins are available for almost any type of thing you want to do. What do you dislike? When looking for a Wordpress plugin, I don't like how the display works. I don't want to see plugins that haven't been updated in years, I don't want to see plugins that aren't compatible.. I should be able to filter this at my own choosing. Recommendations to others considering the product You must be able to ...
