Twilio's customer service is despicable

Twilio's customer service is absolutely abhorrent! For as big of a company as they are, they don't have live people to talk to so you're really at the mercy of some faceless person who decides if they want to reply to you and how long to take to reply. Those people are absolute morons. I am literally wondering if I'm even communicating with actual people. Every time I reply to the rep that takes over the communication (different people), I receive a generic "automated" email that literally ...

Support response times are horrible

Support response times are horrible. They've disabled my account temporarily because of a breach, but after investigating we found no signs of our account being compromised. We rely on Twilio for signups on our website. Now we've had to shut down signups for 12 hours, waiting kindly for them to reenable our account. We're losing money on sales because of this.

Good Developer Experience with API Services

In the amid of all bad reviews I see here. I am going to describe my experience as a Developer working with their services (API). Their support for developers is professional. Twilio APIs and documentation are some of the best in the industry. They have several SDKs and are maintained regularly which makes creating applications and integration with Twilio much easier. Big SHOUT out to the engineering team!

Cheating, Low grade Company. DON'T USE

Sorry, for 1 star rating since i couldn't find 'Zero' .The company that doesn't know the meaning of integrity, ethics. DON'T ever enable AUTO-TopUp/Recharge of your credit if you are a small company. You will be made bankrupt by these cheats. They will allow premium SMS by 3rd party and will blame you that you don't keep the token/codes safe. with mins you will loose 1000's of dollars. PLEASE READ: I have used Twilio to send OTP's (One time passwords) messages to an app. Well it turns out this can be misused and fraudsters can simply type in any premium number and well guess what you are charged. VERY IMPORTANT: Even though your account with Twilio should stop when you balance hits £0, this is not the case and any queued SMS will still go through and Twilio will charge you.
