Completely incompetent support
Very slow on support issues. Have 4 restaurants and have been with toast for 4+ years. Support has been slow but this time it is hurting our business. When they went to do a recent 3rd party integration, they disconnected one of our existing suppliers. It was down for 3 weeks despite numerous calls, chats and support tickets for help. I am a bar manager
I am a bar manager. The bar owner leases the Toast POS, as of 3 years ago. He did this because TOAST claims to be set up for bar's and restaurants. However, we are finding that bartenders are able to easily steal and TOAST helps them do it. Let me explain, bare with me. Toast is great for restaurants. A Toast to Toast
Very different than aloha. If you're used to one and have to switch to the other there's a bit of a learning curve, however, toast is a little more innately logically set up. Toast is also extremely easy to access and edit menus/POS set up. I also like the online ordering feature for guests to utilize without having to call in.

You have a biling department that only does contact through email. Then with your emails tries to blame client for their mistakes. That is a problem

Paying for something we do not use. Cant cancel
We are paying for TOAST and do not use their system. I spoke to someone again today, 3/18/2024, he was not willing to transfer me to the cancellation department nor a supervisor. It is easy to sign up but cancelling an account is nearly impossible. Every month since last Feb 2023. Good luck with TOAST.

It is easy to sign up but cancelling an account is nearly impossible. Every month since last Feb 2023. Good luck with TOAST.
