Toast has the worst customer service

Toast has the worst customer service. You will be on the phone for hours, transferred from person to person. Every person will ask you to tell them what the issue is, so you will have to repeat it over and over even when you have a case number for them. They open cases and then close them shortly thereafter, whether your problem is resolved or not. I had an agent tell me I could not talk to the people working on my case because those people do not have a phone…that’s absurd. They will be ...

So expensive

So expensive! So many charges for every little thing. We could have done the onboarding ourselves, but NO, they must do it$$$$. We switched locations and since it was more than 30 days inactive we had to buy a new modem$$$$ from Toast. There are so many features we will never use, but we have to pay for them.$$$$

Credit card reauthorization does…

Credit card preauthorization does absolutely nothing for you. You can set it to $20 and the customer can run upa $20 tab then when you close it out, it will only run for a partial amount like $9.86. We've lost money using this. In order to use gift cards, you must purchase their minimum amount but then also pay a $50 a month fee to Toast in order to actually use them.

As a business owner who has toast in place I can tell you DONT DO IT !!!! We have lost power and and this is I don’t even know what number of phone call I am on . They have very few people who know what they are doing . I have been on the phone since 8 am it’s now 1 and they stiff do not know how to closes out a shift review or sync our system. Not only that but I can not edit times for employees since they could not clock out due to the system not working. They say you can use the system ...
