Toast is a total SCAM

Toast is a total SCAM. I ordered food, didnt receive any notification or update as to if the food was ever on the way. I DID NOT RECEIVE MY ORDER. And there is no way in app to contact toast. Total rip off!!!!

they are less than transparent

they are less than transparent. they have a tendency to withhold deposits on a regular basis too. I have been in the business for 20 years and by far the most disappointing POS vendor I have used....Highly don't recccoment.

We ordered from the wrong restaurant by…

We ordered from the wrong restaurant by accident. The second after we ordered we realized what happened. We called the restaurant and no one answered. The restaurant was Relish in Bartram Park. After trying to call 15 times we called Toast and there were no help. They told us sorry there is nothing we can do. Call your bank and have them deal with it. Luckily the Relish in Jax Beach that we originally wanted to order from helped out.

Reviews are tough

Reviews are tough. There is always another side to the story; almost always good people trying to be good humans wherever possible. Our experience with Toast is likely tangled in a web of complex processes, multiple departments, perhaps a few failures to communicate, etc. The result, is a the inability of Toast to deposit our funds from our sales into our bank account for multiple days, with no response or communication from anyone. Buyer BEWARE

Buyer BEWARE! My Toast POS system has been paid in full for 4 months (thousands of dollars), and I am being billed $190 monthly for a service that I have yet to see even though I was assured in my initial meeting that no billing begins until our system is live! Unbelieveable. The WORST Customer service I have ever encountered

Currently on hold for over an hour on their customer service line. I asked to speak to a manager and they even took me off hold for a second and I heard them talking about me, so now I’m sure they just are waiting for me to hang up and don’t want to deal or take any accountability on the matter.
