Blocked all access due to 'suspected…

Blocked all access due to 'suspected commercial use'. Its been 2 months with no contact. Called up and they said 'it could take over 30 days' and gave no idea of any timeframe. Absolutely ridiculous.

I can share my presentations with my students and chat with them at the same time

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? With TeamViewer I can share presentations, remote other computers for assistance, I can use chat, audio, video or webcam. I like that it is free for non-commercial uses and i found it useful in educational areas and low-income countries. Teamviewer is the most annoying remote…

Teamviewer is the most annoying remote access company I have seeing in a long time. They will not make a consumer paid plan as they provide it free for consumer but constantly block your access claiming commercial usage. I am a computer geek and therefore have about 10 computer in my home and about once a week I use team viewer to access my other pc / mac computers. What do you like best? Teamviewer is a great software product BUT not so the company

Updated 27/08/2018: TeamViewer support has FINALLY reviewed my usage and has reset my account to PERSONAL free usage. It only took them TWO MONTHS. I guess this is to try to sell more annual subscriptions (see below regarding cancelling when purchasing.However, the responses that I have been getting by email from TeamViewer support staff recently have been nothing short of rude, ignorant and arrogant. Very Aggressive bully boy tactic marketing

If I could give no stars I would. Very Aggressive bully boy tactic marketing, Lack of support for older versions with "Life Time" licence. Gradually worsening performance of older versions (only a couple years old really. Lots of choice now for more alternatives. Overpriced subscription model with no monthly option.

Blocked from remotely accessing home computer while away on vacation

As with apparently a large number of other users, one of my computers was falsely flagged as commercial use. I don't need to repeat what everyone else has been posting here. I am switching to a free alternative, as soon as I can install it on my remote home computer. I would have immediately, but TeamViewer's definition of 5 minutes before timeout, is around 30 seconds, so it will have to wait until I get home from my vacation.
