I was incorrectly charged a fee by this…
I was incorrectly charged a fee by this company after 1000s of duplicate transactions were entered into their system and were removed by their Agents. Even after they were removed and they acknowledged that these were duplicates, they still charged me a $30 "flex" fee. This is not right and illegal.

Good program, but abysmal customer support
This is an incredibly pricy program for those who do a certain level of business, like I do, and the customer service is ABYSMAL! They have deleted all phone numbers from their website, and there is no chat feature. You must email for support, but their support reps take 2 days to respond on average. What makes it worse is that their reps are obviously overseas and don’t work during US business hours. Every single support email response I have had comes in between 12:30am and 3:30am! This ...

I’ve had the best experience using TaxJar
PROS: It has a good support team that is very much willing to help us with our inquiries. It also has a good Auto-File feature. CONS: It can lag when you first set-up states in Auto-File, but once you get it up, it runs smoothly.

eCommerce sites will benefit greatly from this
PROS: We were able to save time and money. Hiring accountants can be costly, especially if we don't have the accounting knowledge to do it ourselves. TaxJar was able to help us with this. It is very easy to use and it automatically calculates our sales tax.

PROS: Its user-friendly interface makes working easier for us. And if we encounter any issue, their customer support is always there to help us. They also have a good back feature. CONS: Sales tax can be difficult for anyone. We encountered a bad set-up on one state and it was not detected readily. We hope TaxJar can improve that.
