Target Process is off target for me

What do you like best? Story Splitting is pretty good. Visually it is OK What do you dislike? Very difficult to get reports/exports out of a view. (Just trying to export a filtered view to CSV makes me export all of the backlog!. The Sprint views are not helpful for Scrum process where I'm trying to keep focus on one iteration. The view often have too many Sprints and isolating the view is too difficult and manually intense to maintain. The sharing of views is too static and does not ...

Great for keeping track of projects

What do you like best? I love the "paper trail" it creates for projects, especially when I have to revisit a project a year or two later. I also love the simplicity of one place to keep track of my current assignments. What do you dislike? Target Process is a very complex tool. Sometimes it feels a bit unwieldy. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? As market research/analytics company, we use it to keep track of all our projects ...

Fairly good

What do you like best? The defect tracking and categories that target process provides are very good. As a Test engineer, it very easy for me to track/log my defect's. What do you dislike? When writing test cases, the writing styles are not prompted for a bold or italic font style. Recommendations to others considering the product Easy to use and very intuitive to a new user. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can track ...

Targetprocess is very flexible and accommodates our unique work flow very well.

What do you like best? I really enjoy that Targetprocess allows what I call 'inception style organization' and the entities can have many relations. You can have a project which holds epics which is made of features that are made up of stories broken apart by tasks, it's great. I also really enjoy that you can paste images easily into the inline editor. What do you dislike? The only reason it doesn't get a 10 out of 10 rating is that once in a blue moon it is slow to load up and ...

Fun to use, easy to maintain

What do you like best? High visibility of tasks. We can easily see which task is assigned to which person at a glance using the profile pictures, which I like the most. Easily customizable to set WIP and the rules around it. Overall, it has definitely contributed towards increasing our day-to-day productivity and has increased the level of transparency. What do you dislike? The dragging of tasks across boards is still quite buggy and lags even on the best configuration machines. This ...

One tool for everything

What do you like best? Before we got introduced target process to the team we have got different communication channels for customers, development team, support team and so on such as email, SharePoint, ticketing system. But later we realized with this tool we were able to achieve all the above and we have all the information/document in one place which is awesome. What do you dislike? Sometimes it looks like it is so tough for the newcomers to understand and to start working on ...

Great product.

What do you like best? Super flexible. If there isn't a view that helps us, we can often create it. What do you dislike? Integration with Git for Visual Studio Online doesn't work (it broke a while ago so Target Process isn't able to associate commits containing the "#{Bug}" links with Stories and Bugs in Target Process. We're a startup so it's on the expensive side for us. I'd really love if Target Process has a Startup program they could offer to small startups like us. ...

Great quality product that is continently updated and very flexible.

What do you like best? The flexibility of the system. Its great to be able to throw any workflow at it and see many different views to find the information you are looking for. What do you dislike? The helpdesk area (requests needs some work. I wish there was the ability to have private comments on requests, and just an overall better way to interact with our clients without them having to login. Recommendations to others considering the product If you need a very flexible workflow, ...

Target Process is a great tool for managing my work items and keeping track of my time

What do you like best? I like the user interface because it is complex yet intuitive. Boasting a large set of features that eventually come in handy, while making them easy to find when you need them. What do you dislike? Nothing that I can think of really. Its design was well thought out through and through. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? At work we work on a Hospitality software and CRM. With several teams (Dev, QA, ...

Works great for our needs

What do you like best? It makes daily stand up a breeze. The drag and drop interface is great. You can customize your views and cards to fit your needs. What do you dislike? I would really love it if it was easier to split stories that we could not complete all the tasks in one sprint. Right now I find myself manually creating duplicate stories and moving the tasks to the duplicate stories in the next sprint. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...
