Business Intelligence Done Right!

What do you like best? There's been an ongoing debate for a while now with Tableau V.S. Power BI. I've used both and I must side with Tableau for two reasons. 1) Our team uses it in-house. 2) It's just better! While not the easiest to learn, Tableau offers so much in terms of business intelligence for its users, that it makes it all worth it. Its visualization tools are the best in the business, and its ability to cater to different business roles just makes it that much ...

Very good for real time analysis.

What do you like best? I could set up a backend data for it and it used to refresh automatically whenever there is change in data. What do you dislike? We will need to log in to tableau everytime we use it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Real time analysis was made easy.

Tableau has made visualising my analysis much easier

What do you like best? What I like best is the Tableau interface. It's a very smooth interface which is of utmost importance when you want to work faster. You can connect unlimited number of data connections and that is extremely useful. One more thing I love about Tableau is the range of self learning tutorials that it provides. The tutorials are easy to follow and the community is really quick in responses. What do you dislike? Pulling data from a database is a bit difficult in ...

What do you like best? The best part about tableau is that it is very easy to learn. It dosent take a lot of time to get hands on and start working What do you dislike? Nothing is there in Tableau which I dislike What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I have been able to solve queries on big data sets without using any code. This is by far the biggest benefit that I have realized.

Build dashboards

What do you like best? I like tableau mostly because it empowers me to build flexible and complex dashboards with ease, just prep the data and load, tableau does the rest. What do you dislike? The lack of some more complex capabilities for drilling down or link to “sister” dashboards/datasets. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The need for simple yet flexible (self serving) business health dashboards for upper management.

Market leader in Data Visualization and Data Analytics

What do you like best? I am extremely fond of Tableau desktop. It has completely changed the way which we view and understand data. As compared to Microsoft Excel which we used earlier, it is extremely fast, many more visualization options are available, can connect to multiple sources of data and performance is top-notch as well. Tableau has the power to transform millions of rows of data into a meaningful graph or pie chart or any other structure which you choose and from that, you ...

Simply the best visualisation tool out there

What do you like best? I love the fact that this product can be used at so many different levels. It can be used for deep analysis or just to quickly and simply visualize big data sets. What do you dislike? The permission controls limit the usage. It would be nice to be able to export pdf of the visualization to be reused in presentations. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Data analysis. Creating and sharing dashboard for all the ...

What do you like best? It provides quick insights within seconds and there are various options for visualization just with one click . I love its amazing user interface and its very user friendly What do you dislike? Tableau Desktop is a very expensive tool. Otherwise everything about it is really great. Recommendations to others considering the product: Go for it, it comes slightly expensive, but this is the best visualization tool currently available which is so user friendly ...
