In Kubernetes, it makes switching between contexts, providing access (both role-based and temporary), and configuring your local kube config so seamless and so easy, it is actually painless. We handle dozens of environments and hundreds of datasources, and by leveraging their sdm CLI util, macbook app, and SDK, we are able to provision and maintain it all, with little-to-no issues. What do you like best about StrongDM? I like that StrongDM makes it easy for our users to securely access cloud resources without needing a separate VPN. We can provide SSH access to instances, access to databases, and even dashboards for tools that we don't want to make publicly available. Additionally, StrongDM allows us granular control over the resources that individual users have access to. StrongDM support is also fantastic.
