Moved from legacy tooling to modern incident management
What do you like best? Since we moved from a legacy system to Squadcast, it has transformed the way we manage incidents. I like the how blazing fast the product is, and how well designed the mobile app is for the incident response workflow. Our team also found the phone directory in the mobile app quite useful. Huge relief, dramatically simplifies on-call.
What do you like best? We had a large team of 150 engineers, and we didn't have the budget to have everyone on-call with one of the existing tools. We bought a few smartphones and directed all our critical alerts to them. We used to rotate the ownership of these smartphones weekly.
