Makes your job harder, not easier

Horribly dysfunctional and disorganized system architecture that makes a restaurant owner's job more difficult. Support is just as bad. It's a mirror-image of their system: inefficient, disorganized, and time-consuming. If you call support, you don't get your issue dealt with, instead you sit and wait to finally speak to what amounts to an answering service who put in a ticket for someone to eventually email you (but not call you back). High fees and unexpected charges

New customer here. Spot On was recommended by my Merchant services account representative. It's been more bad than good, alas. I judge from his feedback that he is not happy either. On the plus side, the terminal was easy to set up, and had already been configured with the correct information. The terminal has some nice features. Chris is fabulous

Chris is fabulous. He has a sense of humor, he is patient, he explains everything, and he makes ypu feel important. That all goes a very long way with me. He also points out what is available with spot on. Very helpful.

All I've had is problems with their system

They promise a lot and then all you have is problems with their system, customer service can never do anything to help. Now they want to charge $750 to get technical support. Worst decision to do business with them.

Overcharge and no customer service

Before godaddy took them over they were okay and competitie. Since the take over their charges went up by 20% and their customer service when it comes to charge backs are poor very poor! They demand paperwork and then more paperwork till the time to respond expires and tell you to kick dirt! We changed to another much cheaper company with much better customer service

I selected SpotOn over Toast because…

I selected SpotOn over Toast because their price was better. I opened my restaurant on June 17th, 2024 and have been using SpotOn as my POS system. Since then, I have lost over $8,000 and hundreds of customers. During our Grand opening weekend, we lost over $300.00 in cyber space using the QR code on the receipt to pay. The service as far as deposits in bank…

The service as far as deposits in bank accounts show up on time but are always shorted in the amount deposited. ( customer pays the fees) I called a few times to get it back but it never stops ! I am too busy to baby sit so i stopped calling

Our experience with SpotOn has been…TERRIBLE

Our experience with SpotOn has been incredibly disappointing. Despite countless hours spent on Zoom meetings and menu revisions, we found ourselves completely unprepared for our reopening. When our installer arrived, everything seemed to be on track, and he did his job perfectly. However, as soon as training began, it became evident that the menu had not been updated as promised.
