Splashtop Remote Support is a capable alternative to LogMeIn

What do you like best? (1) Almost identical feature set to LogMeIn, (2) Much lower cost than LogMeIn, (3) Access to SOS, similar to LogMeIn Rescue, at a fraction of the cost, (4) Able to drag files from my desktop to other computers, (5) Ability to delegate access to others. What do you dislike? They need to integrate remote printing without the need for a Third-Party application. Recommendations to others considering the product: The cost is a big factor since this type of ...

Comprehensive Remote Support tool with reasonable pricing and good support

What do you like best? The Splashtop streamer (remote client) is easy to add into a provisioning package, with group assignment baked into the MSI file at download. With many users and groups, having the access control in the installer is just the right way to do it. Moving machine assignments after the fact is no problem, but getting it right the first time is important. If performance wasn't really good, none of this would matter, so getting all the basics done well is the minimum. ...

Be careful if you want to partner with splashtop!

We have used splashtop as part of Atera for nearly 3 years now, we've found splashtop to be ok for what we needed as part of our helpdesk other than a couple of bugs here and there which were resolved fairly quickly. So when we realised that the world was likely to be pushed into lock down we decided that it would be good to be able to offer remote support to end user using the same system that we already use.So we spoke to splashtop about licencing splashtop directly with them for our end ...

All the features, lower price

What do you like best? We’ve tried LogMeIn Rescue and TeamViewer for the last 2 years...both great tools for technicians, but when it came to needing to give masses of users easy remote access to different resources with almost no deployment time...Splashtop wins in with users. Oh, and 50 business licenses cost as much as 3 TeamViewer seats, so it’s a cost savings no-brainer. What do you dislike? There seems to be a small problem with computers using nVidia drivers and ...

Great for working remotely and for IT support

What do you like best? I like that I am easily able to log into my computer from home. It is also nice that you can restart your computer and still log back into it. With some of the other remote log in sites, I have used in the past, if your computer restarted someone would have to start the remote program back up. I work in the IT department so it is also nice because we have it set up on other computers through the office. This allows me to see what is happening on their computer ...

Easy to use, powerful customization

What do you like best? Splashtop is easy to deploy, meaning that your clients will have to do nothing on their end to be ready for remote support at any given time. What do you dislike? Computers are registered once in Splashtop when you deploy it yourself. I wish there was a way to automatically update the name when the computer name changes, but honestly that's not a big deal. The admin can still set the name to whatever they want, but it's not automatic. What problems are ...

Awful Technical Support,

Awful Technical Support,My support ticket was open 5 days ago. Nobody did take the time to address it. I tried to find the solution via Phone & chat Support, no success. After waited in a queue 20 min they closed the call/chat with no support.Left negative feedback in App Store to reflect their unreliability as a software company!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Splashtop is an affordable solution for small business. I can control my servers while i am away.

Inexpensive, fast, and great staff/support behind it

What do you like best? Splashtop creates stable, fast connections with even the slowest of my organization's connections and hardware. The price is a true value, especially when compared to the rest of the market. The support has been fast, helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant so far! What do you dislike? Right now I have an intermittent issue with new installations where switching users will disable Splashtop. It doesn't seem to be a widespread issue and I'm working with Splashtop ...
