What do you like best about Smartcat? It is very easy to use. It has customer support. It is very intuitive. What do you dislike about Smartcat? It does not have a dictionary integrated by default What problems is Smartcat solving and how is that benefiting you? It helps me do the translation very quickly and also that I can check every segment of the translation. Also, I can add comments to check some segments later. Finally, the tool keeps the original format of the documents

As a seasoned translator I have used many CAT tools over the years, and while I quite like the layout and look of Smartcat it leaves a lot to be desired. My main issue is with the so-called spellcheck function. If you are lucky SC might flag a typo - but not always, and if you move onto a new segment (even without confirming it), the typo will never be flagged again.
