Fantastic UX toolkit for customizing Salesforce

What do you like best? Skuid is very flexible, allowing you to get the exact user experience you need without having to write a lot of code. This makes it incredibly easy to maintain and very quick to build on. We often jump right into prototyping within Skuid instead of mocking up wire frames as it is so quick. What do you dislike? Skuid has made a lot of improvements with their V2 platform increasing stability. However, this did come at the sacrifice of complete customization and ...

Great Product For Customizeability

What do you like best? The amount of customization that is added to Salesforce when using Skuid. What do you dislike? Not a dislike, but be sure you have change management processes in place. Skuid can become large due to the amount of functionality it adds to your environment. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? There used to be issues with feature upgrades introducing some show stopping bugs, but this seems to have gotten ...

Amazing tool for extending salesforce platform

What do you like best? Easy to learn, excellent documentation and allows one to bypass salesforce customization limits. Drag and drop editor is very robust. Page includes and page assignments allows you to build your own "components" that you can use throughout many pages and interfaces and bonus: easy to maintain What do you dislike? Feedback feature does not natively integrate with anything and is somewhat confusing to use. We ended up just creating a process to email the ...

Agile tool for an Agile environment

What do you like best? Salesforce is a database centric view, going to a user centered view requires a lot of custom code to load all the different data tables... unless you're using Skuid! Fast development of user centered apps and even faster incorporation of feedback. Sprints with Skuid tasks actually deliver functionality in a single sprint. What do you dislike? When a page becomes complicated, it can be hard to find dependencies. Such as, what are all the conditional renders ...

The Answer to App Development

What do you like best? Skuid is truly a platform to build quickly and keep costs down. We're able to iterate during the development process and react to changes as they come up. What do you dislike? There are very few challenges we come across. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We've been able to utilize Skuid for custom app development for so many different use-cases.

Skuid helps me say yes to enhanced automation requests

What do you like best? I like that I can fully customize a list view and page layout, making them super functional. The ability to control rendering at the field or table or button level are super empowering. Using the "actions framework" I can make just about anything happen without code (and without consuming Salesforce workflow or flow). The best part is I can do so much on a single screen so the user does not have to navigate multiple objects or workflow screens in order to ...

My favorite vendor

What do you like best? Attention to detail, whether it's their developers thinking through all of the different ways that the product can be used and not forgetting the little details that differentiate between a great and superior app or their support staff doing the extra research to provide a comprehensive response/ solution to questions or issues. What do you dislike? For a company that is now calling itself a platform, a clear roadmap and dedicated way for customers to provide ...

SKUID vs SFDC

What do you like best? Multi-edit function as well as creating and building reports/DBs. What do you dislike? A bit cumbersome at times. Transition from SFDC to SKUID hasn't been the easiest. Several reports are missing data and don't seem to be pulling in all metrics. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take your time. Use training manuals but work hands on. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Multi-edit ...

Skuid for Salesforce

What do you like best? How much you can customize the UI and UX for users. The conditional rendering feature is a must have if you have customers that interact with your Community directly. It allows for a completely customized experience and definitely is a valuable tool to have when doing customer facing deployments. What do you dislike? The learning curve. Skuid does releases and it is very difficult to regression test every bug that might be contained in doing an app upgrade. ...
