Very happy with the Skilljar Platform and our use of it.

What do you like best? The Skilljar platform is easy to use and easy to manipulate as we continue to iterate on our course creation. Their Implementation and Client Success team members have been helpful, as well. What do you dislike? I'm interested to see how they continue to build out their analytics within the application. There is a lot of data available and I'd like to drive behavior from it. Recommendations to others considering the product: Skilljar is a user-friendly ...

The right platform to grow your customer education program

What do you like best? The platform is fairly intuitive. The implementation manager assigned to us has been great and able to accommodate some of our needs and requirements within reason. The ability to create various catalog pages and courses while also being able to set the visibility is helpful. You can also set up specific catalog views based on your learner groups/segments. Building courses is fairly simple and offers a lot of flexibility and possibilities with the types of content ...

A Great LMS for Customer-Facing Education

What do you like best? Skilljar's built-in administrator panels make course creation simple. Skilljar uses an HTML5 WYSIWYG editor which allows any person to create, edit, and publish courses without prior Web Development or LMS experience. Skilljar's support team has always been responsive and issues are quickly resolved. What do you dislike? Although Skilljar offers built-in quizzes, the amount of question types is lacking. Skilljar offers multiple choice, multiple answer, fill in ...

Great experience as a content developer

What do you like best? It's very easy to add text lessons, videos, and SCORM to Skilljar. I love how easy it is now to create catalog pages with courses broken into lessons and sections. What do you dislike? In my experience, I have nothing to complain about! Recommendations to others considering the product: Skilljar allows for lots of flexibility, so think about how you want to report on users' behavior when deciding how to break content down in courses and lessons. What ...

Taking our customer education to the next level

What do you like best? When we started using Skilljar it was meant to be an easier way for us to host live trainings but it has grown into so much more. Now the majority of our trainings are on-demand courses that customers can self-serve and our customer success coaches can work with customers on the meaty decisions to make, rather than rote trainings. It's been incredibly easy to use, even for folks like me with minimal course design experience. Every time we meet with our CSM, Sarah, ...

Easy to use LMS

What do you like best? Skilljar allows for a really plug and play style of course building. I'm working on multiple courses that have similar content but are designed for different audiences. I save a lot of time only having to make updates in one place! What do you dislike? Overall it's really easy to use but sometimes I forget in which settings/configuration area certain settings are. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you have your own content and are ...

User Experience both for customers and creators is everything we look for in an LMS

What do you like best? Content creation contains comprehensive options for media, formatting and customizing look and feel. Custom domains, SSL, SSO all provide a great user experience. What do you dislike? Still some limitations in quizzes, specifically around the functionality of question pools and options for navigation and completion. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Software training for our new customers and experienced end ...

Great extension of our service and team for training. Excellent experience for our team and users!

What do you like best? Skilljar is a very easy to learn interface, allowing training to be up and running in a short amount of time for our users. We have also enjoyed really great service from our customer service team, including monthly and quarterly reviews. What do you dislike? The only thing I can think of is to allow client-level changes to student records. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you're looking to expand your team's bandwidth, you can't go ...

Skilljar is a great LMS for SaaS companies of all sizes!

What do you like best? Skilljar is a flexible Learning Management System that has allowed my team to grow our Customer Education resources over time. We started with simple text lessons and knowledge check quizzes, and now we're creating SCORM modules and building out persona-based catalog pages. Their webinars, ebooks, and other resources are top-notch! What do you dislike? The domain theme defaults are simple, and you need to pull in a designer/edit CSS to create a good, branded ...

Easy to use, great support, and tons of customization

What do you like best? We evaluated several LMS vendors and ended up going with Skilljar and things have been great so far. 3 key benefits: - I have a lot of experience from using previous LMS systems, and Skilljar was super intuitive and followed "industry standards" in terms of setting up courses, sections, and lessons, allowing me to create courses really quickly - Right from the start, the support has been excellent. Our Account Executive was knowledgable and responsive, and our ...
