Has potential but needs a community behind it to push it to the next level
What do you like best? Taxonomy is pretty easy and intuitive. What do you dislike? Unreliable. Plugins don't always work as expected. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Only using sitefinity as a CMS for mostly static pages right now because we don't trust it to do other, more complex tasks.

Consistent and Reliable
What do you like best? I like the ability to customize the editors and change what functions do to create HTML on the backend. This makes it easy for me to create the experience which is easiest for my users, the most autonomous, and the fewest amount of retraining and support hours from the administrators. What do you dislike? The CMS creates a lot of .axd references in the executed code which slows down page speed; but we still have ~4s real-world site-wide averages. To get it ...

What do you dislike? If Sitefinity were to allow create customer journey in a simple way, that will be fantastic for Digital Customer Experience. End to end analytics could be better. Recommendations to others considering the product: It is robust. Make full use of the software. What problems ...

Sitefinity the Key to the Future of Great Web
What do you like best? I love the opportunity to be able to make edits to the web pages directly on the web and being attentive to detail of how to positions on the site. Also, the tech support team at Progress is very responsible and active to helping out with issues. What do you dislike? The HTML Editor needs some updating on the features for coding as some of the functions are not compatible. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Pretty great product, has much of the infrastructure built in.
What do you like best? The renewal guy was great, worked with me to get things required done. What do you dislike? The technical support is a bit delayed for me, granted they weren't urgent, but ticket assigning takes too long for me. Recommendations to others considering the product: Good .NET CMS product, they're fully featured and are continuously working for modernization. Quality of support is great, but they're not the fastest. The renewal/sales rep is great and will work ...

A progressive platform that's essentially a key to our success!
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Our customers find it really easy in using the product. Changes suited for our environment can be done in a cinch. Management of the system is simple. It keeps our environment tightly secure. What aspects are problematic or could work better? There are actually certain things that would assist us from the project itself. But we chose to hand them over to SiteFinity themselves for review. They're open to just about anythng and are ...

An ideal approach for content managers who want to completely control their content.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Being a developer, one of the most boring things to do when developing is content creation changes. CMS was able to resolve this issue by lifting off the burden from the developer and giving the responsiblity back to content managers. A majority of CMSs who do this wind up failing and going back to doing the changes themselves. But that's not the case with Sitefinit as its UI is easy for content managers to make the necessary changes. ...

A CMS that is getting better with every release.
What do you like best? Sitefinity is easy to use, is easy to customize and allows users to sync published content automatically or selectively to the live webisode (SiteSync). I hope to like it even better once we upgraded to 12.1. Customer support has improved considerably over the past three years,. What do you dislike? Upgrades to new releases don't seem to be be that easy. Perhaps this will get better over time. Workflow for langues are lacking functionality. Can clear SiteSync ...

Overall really great product but needs someone with a strong technical background to implement
What do you like best? Drag/drop interface for end users to build page layouts, boostrap integration, and the product is constantly being updated with new features and improvements. What do you dislike? The built in forms are extremely lacking. If you need the ability to create dynamic forms, you are out of luck. Simple forms like name, phone, email work just fine but is you need anything beyond that then this is not the product for you. Recommendations to others considering the ...
