Amazing features. Powerful extensibility. Easy to use Interface

What do you like best? I really appreciate the user interface that makes it easy to build new pages, drag content modules into them, and architect the structure of the site and the configuration options needed. As a developer, it was relatively easy to add new custom components for end users to work with, as well as leverage the existing web service architecture in order to create custom services for my needs. Documentation was very helpful in adding new customizations or working ...

Sitefinity Review

What do you like best? I like the feature to save a page as a draft but still have the ability to have the page still published. WordPress lacks this feature and it makes it difficult to make changes without altering any live environment What do you dislike? The community in sitefinity issue or problems is smaller compared to people who use Wordpress. If there was a bigger community I would have been able to solve and discuss more issues What problems are you solving with the ...

Great flexibility but upgrades are troublesome

What do you like best? Sitefinity is flexible and provides great development tools What do you dislike? Upgrades can be a huge pain because it seems they often alter tables in database which causes some issues. Issues are compounded by having larger amounts of data like when using features like digital experience cloud Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you have .net developers on staff. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Once you learn, easy to use

What do you like best? After the learning curve has been completed, it's quite straightforward on how to continue making edits. What do you dislike? There isn't anything I can currently think of at this time. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you're considering this platform, give it a trial run and see if it is right for you. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Quickly integrating features vs. having to ...

An easy to use and feature rich CMS - Sitefinity!

What do you like best? We have implemented Sitefinity as the CMS of choice for various website projects. One of the huge considerations we have when choosing a CMS for our clients is the ease of use and the capability to integrate with external (3rd Party) systems easily. Sitefinity ticks both those boxes. It is extremely easy to use for our clients but still gives our developers the ability to customize where we need it. When used with the Digital Experience Cloud (DEC) that progress ...

Happy Customer

What do you like best? Custom Modules with I Sitefinity has made our life easier when we display our products and services that we provide. I also like the easiness in developing or customizing the existing components of Sitefinity using .NET code. The documentation available for the product is useful as a developer and end user What do you dislike? MVC Widget template customization is not easy. I would like to see it easily done from the widget itself rather than going to a separate ...

Modern Platform

What do you like best? Great UI, modern functionality, lots of features. What do you dislike? Upgrading process could be less bumpy. Seems to have difficulty upgrading on different releases. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Has saved time on the I.T. side as far as allowing editors to be able to submit their own content and design their own forms.

Initial steep learning curve for back end development but works great

What do you like best? The tech support response and knowledgebase Sitefinity provides helps a lot with setup and development. The documentation is thorough and some of the video tutorials are helpful. What do you dislike? Documentation is not updated as frequently for use cases found in the knowledgebase. Learning curve can be steep for back end development. Training for front end users can be difficult for most users with no technical background or CMS experience. Upgrading old ...
