Secure but complex

What do you like best? I like the confidence in the platform and the peace of mind it provides, particularly from a risk perspective. What do you dislike? I find that without regular development support it is difficult to create interesting and engaging webpages on par with something I'd see on less rigid cms platforms. Users often express disappointment at how inflexible the platform is in helping them achieve what they're looking to achieve. What problems are you solving with the ...

Potential but struggling to reap the benefits

What do you like best? Sitecore Experience Platform is extremely powerful but I feel like we have only touched the surface on its capabilities. Our company is hoping to utilize personalization. We have been with Sitecore for 4 years and have yet to personalize any content. What do you dislike? Upgrades have been painful for us. We completed an upgrade from 8.2 to 9.0 earlier this year. The project took about 9 months to complete. Also dislike the heavy reliance on IT for template ...

It's very powerful, and very complicated

What do you like best? Sitecore can just about do anything you want it to do. There's a great deal of capabilities, APIs, and ways of linking in additional capabilities and platforms. It's powerful, can be quick, customizable, and can have personalization options. What do you dislike? You absolutely can't implement this yourself. You'll need a partner. It's also got an extremely steep learning curve - it does not look, feel, or function like any other CMS you're familiar with. ...

What do you dislike? The upgrade process is a big pain point. Upgrades are not as easy as it should be. Recommendations to others considering the product: Invest in developers in-house that stay long term What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...
