Very Complicated

What do you like best? When setup is complete and the site is finally functional What do you dislike? Trying to figure out licensing, certificates and certification requirement for access to support. As a manager, it is difficult to find the time to get certified, so I have to request a certified employee to submit the request for me. What problems are you solving with the product? Flexible product, but complicated

What do you like best? It has a lot of capabilities if you buy everything. Email marketing. Personalization. AI, etc. Very broad abilities. Can work across many various sites as well with sharing assets. What do you dislike? It can get complicated &/or expensive pretty quickly. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Benefits: Able to personalize. Problem solved: Able to throw up new microsites fairly quickly.

Lots of features, but customization and integration are challenging.

What do you like best? Features, ie analytics, personalization, EXM What do you dislike? Difficulty of customization, documentation is not fantastic. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Reaching and understanding customers. Faster site development.

Integrations

What do you like best? Variety of integration options with other tools and software. What do you dislike? Upgrading to newer versions of sitecore seems to be very difficult. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Difficult content management and governance, streamlining multiple home-grown systems into one consistent platform.

I love using Sitecore as a platform to solve my customer's problems

What do you like best? I love how the platform is open and allows developers to extend the system to meet customer needs What do you dislike? The downsides of Sitecore is the level of official documentation concerning new functionality. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Allow the customer to integrate backend systems into the platform without comprising customer experience.

Great for a developer

What do you like best? Flexibility - like how easy it is to extend functionality What do you dislike? documentation - although it looks much better for newer 9.x versions. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Good content editing experience. Role based personalization of content.

Ease of use for authors

What do you like best? Sitecore is an easy platform to use to edit, surface and design content for your users and customers. What do you dislike? Learning how to create successful personalized campaigns is a challenge. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Distributed authorship model being rolled out across the company.

Sitecore is flexible, robust and sometimes too complex.

What do you like best? The Experience Editor is easy to use and modify for the content authors. Sitecore provides a lot of flexibililty and customization. But with that it can make implementation harder because the options are unlimited. Workflow should be easier to implement. What do you dislike? The publishing process takes a lot of resources and troubleshooting can be difficult. I would be nice if non-developers can put in support tickets as well with out certification. What ...
