A glorified desktop post-it note (minus the glory)
What do you like best? Simple layout and motif, good use of white space. Free form in scope, let's you type What do you dislike? It simply doesn't give you nearly enough WYWSIG options. Can't bulletise or numerical order. Can't highlight anything, can't embolden. It really isn't much better than a basic desktop post-it note. Nowhere near the same scale as Evernote or OneNote. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a note-taking app, but you really don't ...

Easy for anyone
What do you like best? I like how minimal and simple it is for ANYONE to use. My mom used it for a grocery list and also for party planning supplies. I use it for everything including daily tasks and just to prioritize certain things in my daily routine. Even my kids chores have been able to be jotted down or projects. I also like that it works on any device. What do you dislike? The delete button is too close to other buttons and minimal formatting options but that’s probably the ...

Great for note organization purpose
What do you like best? I like the detailed description of the features and ability to use multiple features at the same time. What do you dislike? I don’t like the complex software setup and I think can be improved. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Note taking on the go.

Simple and efficient
What do you like best? Simplenote is easy to use. It’s in the name and it lives up to it. I don’t be fooled though, it is plenty powerful and doesn’t lack features. What do you dislike? I think the settings could be a little more advanced. Honestly there’s not much to dislike. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use simple notes for everything, meeting notes, on the call notes with customers, training notes for my new hires.

Simple as its name
What do you like best? It's ultimately simple for note taking and make quick to do lists. The best thing that I love about SImplenote is their design and features which they are only providing significant and most important tools instead of meaningless tools. Because if you are using note taking program then you need only few functions to complete your needs. What do you dislike? There are few things such as you can easily lost your notes which you took a while ago. It's free and ...

Minimalist Notes Free from Distractions
What do you like best? What I like best about SimpleNote is it was designed to lessen the distractions. Too simple that it will automatically detect the first line of your notes as your Headline or title of your notes. Quite straightforward, and no learning curve at all. You use it straight out of the box, and start taking notes. No other bloated features that usually distracts you and does more harm than good especially when you are in a speedy conversation where you need nothing but ...

Quick note taking app
What do you like best? The tool is straightforward note taking app and doesn't need much training to be productive. Mobile sync works well and has software support for all the major platforms. Organizing the notes can be done using tags. What do you dislike? If you have a large number of notes then organizing will become a challenge. This tool lacks option like multiple notebook, rich text editor, checklist creator, adding images/videos. Recommendations to others considering ...

Simple Indeed!
What do you like best? The simple interface doesn't make you think too much. It's like a more robust version of Apple Notes, or a less cluttered version of Evernote, striking a nearly perfect balance. What do you dislike? The potential of creating repeated tags and getting disorganized is real. But, if you can keep consistent with tags this shouldn't be an issue. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A free, multi-platform basic ...

A simple note taking tool
What do you like best? It's super light-weight. It does what you need it to do without drowning you in features you probably won't use. It's free too! The sync with the mobile app is almost instantaneous. That sounds like a silly thing to like, but you appreciate it when you add to your notes on a desktop then use your phone minutes later to reference them while in a meeting. What do you dislike? It's easy to lose track of old notes. Lack of multiple notebook functionality. ...
