I tried the free tier
I tried the free tier. Bad in 3 ways : 1) Documentation less clear than GetResponse, Sendinblue, Mailpoet2) Mails don't go through hotmail, live, outlook, msn3) Last but not least, they block you without warning and without reason (they tell "it's the system") and so blocking your business with no reason. My worst experience with an email marketing platform.

The mails won't be delivered because…
The mails won't be delivered because they have too much junks ip address. You have to buy a dedicated IP and start building reputation with it slowly.

I assume there is no one left running the business
I can only assume there is no one left running the company, emails are all being deferred or blocked. We have obviously been put in an IP share with a spammer. No emails going out, no response from support, nothing (ever!), just a default email saying they're experiencing delays responding. Would be easier if they just admitted that everyone needs to find a different email sender.

Avoid Avoid Avoid
Sengrid (paid tier) was okay for around 5 years but since they joined Twilio in 2020 their deliverability has plummeted. In our case we fell victim to a spam blacklisted IP address which they foisted on us. Furthermore they simply don't respond to support. I'm convinced there's no one running the company - perhaps the sendgrid team sold their share options after the big deal and quietly left the building to party! We've moved to French company who so far ( only 1 month ) appear to be much better.

Non-existent customer support
We're on a shared plan, and the server our emails are being sent from has been added to a spam block list. According to SendGrid all you need to do is notify them of this happening, and they'll request removal from the block list. Simple right?I've had a ticket open for 2 weeks and have her to hear anything back at all. This means our customers haven't been receiving any of our transactional email for weeks now, and there's nothing we can do about it.Absolutely ridiculous, their support is ...

Absolutely dreadful customer support.
Absolutely dreadful customer support. All I want to do is upgrade and give them my money, but they don't turn up for the scheduled meeting and then do not reply to the email asking them why they didn't attend. I've seriously never experienced something as comically bad.Laughable.

SendGrid has the least efficient support
SendGrid has the least efficient support service. Customer with a pro plan, they surely can let a ticket open for more than 12 days open without any response. Moreover, you have to be very precise on each demand, because their first answers are often focused on something that is not the subject of your request. In fact real support is at level 2 or 3 expertise and you have to struggle many times in order to access a real valuable information.

Sendgrid support is atrocious
Sendgrid support is atrocious. We have send multiple support requests at really critical times for our business. We even had to shut one account and lost all our email templates. It is so crazy-making. They just don't care. Don't use them. Go elsewhere - Mailchimp is our next port of call.
