Our email was not being delivered
Our email was not being delivered, so I investigated, it seems that sendgrid has a bunch of their IP addresses that have been added to blacklists. (spamhaus etc). We had a paid account, I expected better service. Clearly they are letting spammers use their servers. The email we sent is transactional only (eg event confirmations). But the real kicker was that they did not answer our support request for 5 days. So we were down for 5 days. Do not use this company for any production system that ...

Twilio killed SendGrid
Seems that after the acquisition of SendGrid by twilio the service has been rendered useless and unsupported. I have successfully used SendGrid in the past and now that I created a new account for another company it is impossible to activate a plan or contact support. So sad to see a good service go to waste! We chose another service and gave up trying to get a reply from support. RIP SendGrid ......

Extremely bad experience!
I opened an account and configured everything for a server switch before going Live and it was working for around a month of tests before. Then on the Go Live day, I was going to change plans to a paid one in order to avoid being blocked by their limit. But to my surprise I saw that they forbid to upgrade accounts as it's considered a "new account" even though I did a month of tests. I sent an urgent request for it to just let me pay, but there was no reply after 2 hours even though it was ...

Account Broken 3 months and counting...
My account has been broken for three months and counting. They said this was a one-off bug of course and haven't fixed it. I would have to delete my automation and restart. I also can't tell you a single improvement in the last 12 months.

Abysmal support - jumping ship.
What else can be said except that I agree 100% that support is abysmal. I am not even sure they have support since there is no way to contact anyone. They have suspended my account due to some complaints yet they don't have ANY sense of urgency that you cannot send emails - no timeline to resolving the issue no followup no acknowledgment you even exist! The only solution is move off their platform which I am happy to do.
