SendGrid does the job but could definitely use improvements

We've made the switch over from MailChimp to SendGrid these past few months, as SendGrid has tracking and we can now work with deep linking. Which our team has greatly appreciated these benefits, and they've for sure opened up the doors to greater marketing. But I can certainly say there's been friction and will be much more to come. For one, the way you have to organize lists, contacts, and segments before you create an email is a pain. I miss being able to segment lists for each ...

We had been using Sendgrid services…

We had been using Sendgrid services since 3 years for our CMS portal on eboundservices.com and we have zero downtime. Plus almost all of our emails from our system get delivered smoothly. We actually dont have to worry about email as Sendgrid is on our back.I would definitely recommend Sendgrid for small or enterprise work.

We have used SendGrid for 4 years now

We have used SendGrid for 4 years now. SendGrid is integrated with our lead management system. Which means most of the emails we send are transactional. The API’s are easy to use, and we have not had any issues with delivery. My company is small so SendGrid fits our business model in cost and basic SMTP services. I would and have recommended SendGrid as a cost effective way of handling transactional emails.

Can't really say if the platform works…

Can't really say if the platform works well. We were testing it for one day, we got the Sendgrid IP address black listed and emails were reported as spam, support said it was because we were on a free plan and using a shared IP address but problems would be solved moving to a payed plan. Bottom line we didn't even had time to test it and they asked to pay. We moved to Mailjet and everything fine so far.
