Very deceptive and confusing!
I thought SendGrid would be a great alternative to the more established E-Mail Marketing companies, but soon after starting with them it dawned on me I made a huge mistake. First of all, they differentiate between API-mails and marketing mails for some reason, and I got the wrong plan because I did not understand what the difference is. After all, an email is an email? BEWARE OF SENDGRID
Sendgrid wants the prospective client to open an account. Once they get your credit card number they start billing whether you ever use their service. I have tried to stop them for over 1 year. Basically no customer support.

Really really terrible
Really really terrible, really awful customer service, they are terrible!I have opened so many support tickets with them for the same thing and it just happens over, and over, and over again. Depending on who you get depends on the reason you'll get for the error. You'll always be told they haven't come across that before - well, I have, every single time I use this stupid service!They close the chat when you're not done!SH*TE!!!!! Don't know their arses from their elbows. SH*TE!

Blocked for no reason / Incoherent system
The Contact and Support systems are inefficient and incoherent, they did not solve our issue and did not even explain what it was in the first place. They blocked our account with for no reason, and no previous warning. We sent two campaigns and after the free trial, we were going to hire the system, however, they didn't even give us the chance. Compares favorably with competitors
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? SendGrid offers a useful dashboard and automatic tracking for clicks, links, and Google Analytics. The main advantage is there is no need to write any integration code. The product compares favorably with what competitors have to offer. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Worst email vendor in the marketplace by far
1. Automatically gives you access to the beta marketing program which lacks basic functionality found in every other email vendor (send a test email! review to see what your url clicks were! etc.2. Stealth "upgraded" my account to a plan more than 3 times as expensive and instantly tried to bill without any consent or review3. Reliable SMTP service provider
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? We use SendGrid as SMTP provider for the emails of our external clients. Before we started using SendGrid, we faced problems such as blacklisting of our IP address, our emails being marked as spam, and delivery issues. PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? SendGrid is cost-effective for large databases. You can easily manage bounces and unsubscribes. Testing is flexible and easy. Easy & Affordable Email API
What do you like best? It is incredibly easy to set up and API and integrate it into whatever platform, service, or application you're using. What do you dislike? I would like to see more options for email marketing. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am able to set up email integrations for client websites.
