SendGrid Reviews in April 2025: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Mal servicio. Mala atención.

Nos pasamos de Mailchimp a Sendgrid y todo fue mal. De unas tasas de apertura de 15/20% pasamos a menos de 3%. Según ellos culpa nuestra, pero la realidad es que su IP dedicada no es de calidad. Ni la cambian ni ofrecen soluciones realistas.

Steer clear!

Truly terrible experience.We've been using them for around 2 years without issue. The deliverability has taken a serious fall on their shared IP service, mainly as they are constantly black listed. This means we need to go from $20 per month to $102 to get a dedicated IP.I tried contacting sales who gave me conflicting info, one saying we could have a dedicated IP on a bespoke plan, the other denying this.We will now look into MailGun which would cost us $35 PM instead.

£5400 Invalid Traffic from AdSense? That will be SendGrid!

"Invalid Traffic - AdSense for Content" at around £1400 a month? The scam and phishing emails continue without any action from Sendgrid! There is a dead email no one reads (abuse at sendgrid.com)It’s Sendgrid ignore official emails for abuse but tolerate the bunch of criminals and scammers to harm our trade mark, business, but most important to mislead our customers with phishing mails!

This is very bad choice in my opinion

This platform was once okay at best (it really was never that great), but it based on my experience, it took a turn for the worst when they were acquired by Twillio. They are among the most expensive platforms out there. They don't reply to your support ticket and when their system went down, they didn't apologize or keep us properly posted on the status. Shocking company stay well away

Shocking company stay well away. Their support is outrageous and they have absolutely no care in the world for their customers. Just a tip to anyone out there, if you want to use their API for sending emails, don't bother with their essentials plan, you've got to pay £100 for their pro plan with dedicated IPs.Absolute rip off so I've gone with Mailgun. Much more affordable and their customer service is AMAZING!

Good API solution for sending bulk emails

What do you like best? Every feature on the SendGrid Platform is available via REST API. This makes you integrate the solution with your own system and make sense out of parameter from SendGrid such as Open, Clicks, etc What do you dislike? SendGrid API's Website becomes down at times and customer care does not accept it. Have to send screenshots and then they divert to other solutions. How are they not ashamed to exist?

I am amazed at how they are not ashamed to even exist. This is how bad my experience with using their app is. I never comment on things and usually have nothing bad to say about something, but as a designer, seeing the user experience being done so horribly, without any thought or knowledge just makes me terribly sad. This is literally impossible to use. MS Notepad has more editing options.Nobody should waste their nerves and time like this.

SendGrid engages in a fraudulent billing practices. If you go over your plans limit, you will get like 10 times more on your bill. Very bad experience. Reported to my bank and disputed the fraudulent charge. Looking for a different service provider.
