I love Segment
What do you like best? Ease of Usage, Robust tool, and many Features in the product, I love the integration features in the segment. The Gainsight PX Integration feature is the one I mostly use and the flow of the event is accurate What do you dislike? Segment is the core of our business intelligence and customer engagement
What do you like best? Brilliant concept for a platform technology. Also super impressed with the support for startups. What do you dislike? We initially struggled with the javascript integration within our Chrome extension, but we've been find since moving to server side analytics. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Simple analytics that helps us grow our business with minimal incremental engineering effort.

Incredible time saver
What do you like best? Time-saving, simplicity and flexibility are the core benefits I see in using Segment. The funny thing is these 3 benefits are apparent from the /overview page on the web app. At a glance you'll see where your events come from and where they're sent. In a matter of seconds you can route your events to a data warehouse or any third-party provider you see fit. It's magic! What do you dislike? Great when tracking non-anonymous activity
What do you like best? Segment is great to have a standard API to have the dev team build tracking against. It handles it all for you. It also support server-side tracking instead of loading a dozen SDKs client side! It also has (almost) seamless integration with all kinds of downstream destinations. What do you dislike? Segment's cloud mode means it uses API calls to send data to your destinations (like salesforce), so be careful with your API limits! There is (currently) no way to ...

Segment has been super useful for my job routine
What do you like best? I can have an excellent visualization of the events that are being sent, how they are organized, which destinations are linked to the sources. I think very intuitive add a new destination as well. What do you dislike? The debugger is quite limited. Easy for everyone involved
What do you like best? We use the Connections component of Segment to track the eventstream across our two products. We have two UWP apps, iOS app, web app, our cloud, and marketing website sending data to the majority of our sales and marketing stack. Having one library to maintain on all these sources is super easy for the engineering team to manage and makes metrics components of feature briefs understandable in everyone's language. What do you like best? Spares engineering from having to repeat similar integrations over and over. Empowers marketing teams to easily evaluate multiple tools in any given category, and select the one best suited to their needs.
