Great when tracking non-anonymous activity
What do you like best? Segment is great to have a standard API to have the dev team build tracking against. It handles it all for you. It also support server-side tracking instead of loading a dozen SDKs client side! It also has (almost) seamless integration with all kinds of downstream destinations. What do you dislike? We like it but it's a bit unclear
What do you like best? Well, it was very user-friendly connecting all of our data sources, very intuitive. What do you dislike? Well, even tho we know what it does still some endpoints are not very understandable. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Multiple data sources connected in one data processor which is easier for us to direct it to a data visualization tool and have the BI person give us valuable insights.

Drastic improvement in decision making
What do you like best? Segment, like Google Tag Manager, let us manage many different sources of data but is also includes a wide range of destinations. Makes it easier to try different marketing tools
What do you like best? Spares engineering from having to repeat similar integrations over and over. Empowers marketing teams to easily evaluate multiple tools in any given category, and select the one best suited to their needs. Makes going from 0 to 1 so easy, and then you never have to worry about it when going to 2, 3, 5, 10
What do you like best? The guidance they give on best practices for instrumentation, and the ease with which you can set your data up to go to new destinations. What do you dislike? Segment saves my team countless hours of development
What do you like best? Segment solves a problem that has plagued almost every team I have worked on previously. The constant requirement to integrate a new customer tracking system gets in the way of more important work. No better turn-key solution to move data to multiple sources
What do you like best? I love how many destinations and sources segment supports. I can easily send data from websites, backend and frontend web applications to wherever I need it to go, even if it's multiple places. Excellent for setting up user analytics, admin dashboards, etc. What do you dislike? What do you like best? Segment's thought leadership as far as the "Segment Spec" goes is unrivaled in the industry. Their approach to customer-data analytics is certainly their best. What do you dislike? Each integration has its own nuance, I wish that was better categorized.
