A waste of taxpayer monies.

A waste of taxpayer monies. If your school is considering this then don't. It is horrendous to use, a waste of my time, a waste of school funds that could be spent on learning. As others say- there's too much wrong with it to list it all!

I can’t express how much I hate this…

I can’t express how much I hate this app, which I must use to allow my children to complete their homework. Logging in is an ordeal. I have just tried to login on a new device and I must add my children to my account but the QR codes are now expired! Now I have to email the school to get them to issue new codes. Why????? The activities are awful and the screen jumps around when my child tries to complete them.

"Tech and communication tool"

What do you like best about Seesaw? The ease to send group messages to family members and quickly assign on grade level assignments. What do you dislike about Seesaw? That I can't send more than 1 video with pictures. What problems is Seesaw solving and how is that benefiting you? I can assign and "send home" work with the click of a button and not worry about paper assignments to hand grade and pass out or file.

Seesaw is the WORST

Seesaw is garbage. All it teaches students is how to resize text, how to draw straight, and stress. I don’t know why so many schools use seesaw. It looks 5 years behind. Lockdown has been over for a while and schools are still using it. Please do NOT, under any circumstances, use this app for teaching.

Hate hate hate

Truly the worst thing about education...it may well be easier to home school my children than endure this utterly hateful tool...1.6 on Trust Pilot and yet schools are still basing everything around it long after lockdown...clearly user ratings or experience matter not one jot.

"Easy to Use for Primary Students"

What do you like best about Seesaw? This is super easy for small children to use. They can take a picture of an assignment and instantly send it to their families. The voice feature helps students who are not yet readers. What do you dislike about Seesaw? It can sometimes be hard to manage. "Functional Communication with Limited Bells/Whistles"

What do you like best about Seesaw? Seesaw is a significantly better option for teacher-parent communication versus a group text (whether a standard text message or a messaging platform like WhatsApp); it can focus on student-specific messages and media like photos and video, as well as general class-level communications. Dreadful user experience. Two log ins - one as student and another as parent. Awful messaging structure and unreadable attachments. Our child only started reception two weeks ago and the most stressful part of the whole experience so far has been this useless app! Why are so many schools using it?! It looks like it’s about 10 years old and the functionality is atrocious. So, so bad

Hate it

Hate it, absolutely hate this app and its associated parent app having 2 apps to switch between and 3 children to log in and out of accounts attempting to do homeworks on this is infuriating its so frustrating dragging and dropping resizing text boxes to fit answers into. It is useless and yet the school requires homeworks to be submitted for all 3 children. I wish I could delete the app and never set eyes on it again. Total rubbish and stressful, nothing but frustration for any parent. If ...
