Great product but complicated to use
What do you like best? Personalization, segmentation, testing. What do you dislike? Interface even though it has improved significantly in the last year. Reporting is not flexible. It's hard to simply filter out a specific campaign openers. Recommendations to others considering the product: Its a great investment but prepare to spend one month on training the manager who will be using the product, and additional time for programmers. Sailthru is a simple to use ESP
What do you like best? Sailthru is a smaller ESP that has always offered exemplary customer support. I typically have received same day support for any issues I have had. Emails are timely and there is a lot of flexibility with regard to the email options. What do you dislike? List building and data reliability have presented problems for us. Sailthru is a great marketing tool
What do you like best? I love that Sailthru now has a feature where you can send out messaging when people are most likely to open it. I use Sailthru for internal global communications, so it's nice to know that we're not accidentally sending emails to India in the middle of the night, just so we can reach employees in LA during their business hours. Great, but slow
What do you like best? Sailthru is really user-friendly and intuitive. It's easy to add and edit content (for the most part), and the data about mailings (clicks, opens, etc.) are great and accessible. What do you dislike? My biggest complaint is how slow each page is to load. Sometimes it will take up to 30 seconds (or longer!) for drop-down menus to appear, images to reload, previews to load, etc. It's almost frustrating enough to not use Saithru at all. What do you like best? We handle all of our newsletters, lead generation, event invites and nurturing campaigns in SailThru. It's been easy to train new users and to create on-the-fly custom lists and personalized content.
