Excellent Board and Committee Tool

What do you like best? 1. Ryver reduces email, yeah!! 2. Allows for focused conversations for boards and committee 3. Allows for separate committee workspaces and sub conversations 4. Creates a history of activity for board chairs and committee chairs to review 5. Assist with on boarding of new board and committee members by providing easy to access histories of the work being done and issues being discussed. What do you dislike? The orientation tools for new members ...

Best communication platform

What do you like best? Assigning taskings to my volunteers and the user-friendly interface. What do you dislike? Notifications did not work to start with, but now working perfectly after reporting it. Recommendations to others considering the product: Highly recommend What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Able to communicate and assign tasks to my volunteers who all work remotely.

Getting a Handle on Committees

What do you like best? Being able to administer various committees in our organization with Private Teams, Topics and Tasks is just what we needed. While they've tried other collaboration software in the past, Ryver seems the most intuitive. What do you dislike? So far, I don't have enhancement suggestions. Getting user adoption is the biggest challenge. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Focused discussion, clear outline of ...

Ryver enables effective lab communication

What do you like best? Having a persistent record of discussions that can be sorted by task and topic makes recalling old ideas and maintaining continuity easy. Being able to add guests to single tasks is great. What do you dislike? Interface is improving. In particular downloading attachments from the app and notifications need work, but have been getting better. Also, the inability to change a forum to private and vice versa is a little colorblind to work where security may change. ...

Rapidly evolving communication platform

What do you like best? As a non-profit organisation Ryver stood out over its competitors with a free solution that did not limit the message search history. This was VERY important to us. The threaded "Topics" allow for important discussions to be tracked and archived. With more linear chat tools this valuable information is often lost in the noise of a channel. Ryver is actively developed and new and useful features are pushed out regularly. What do you dislike? Would like to be ...

switching to ryver

What do you like best? so far there are some new features that our previous communication app didnt have. the ability to easily create tasks and manipulate the task categories are great. the topic sections within the forum help keep things organized. also the ability to add "guests" to specific areas only is great too. What do you dislike? the notifications are a little lackluster. but if you are heavily involved in your group you should be looking at the app at least once an hour. ...

Out team is communicating better in the Ryver

What do you like best? Simple kanban task management with a low learning curve and good communication tools built in. It really helped my team bring organization to project management. What do you dislike? The help feature (Ryver's "Wddt Bot") is weak in its ability to provide truly helpful info; however their support team is quick and responsive. Recommendations to others considering the product: Pricing structure makes giving a Ryver a serious trial a "no brainer" Six users ...

Brilliant alternative to Slack or Workplace

What do you like best? Ryver is really easy to use and for our use is a better match than the others since it has a task module, which the others don't. It easily integrates with lots of third party applications, and support has been very quick to respond. What do you dislike? Wish it could integrate easier with more third party services. Recommendations to others considering the product: To us, Ryver has been even better than Slack, so it is strange that so few people know ...
