start with positives. the green mask is good to a point but one must go in an edit frames where it messes up and in the end you end up cutting frames out. not good. i know why the upload is wrong and was going to help but i learned and didn't think about this any upload on line to the cloud is subject to some admin going into your library and look at it which i have proof they did. so while the tool maybe good, i will not be using it or if i do i will delete my files as soon as i can. so ...

The prompts aren't followed which is pretty important to generate content?

I subscribed for $95

I subscribed for $95, tried to lipsync a 1:51 minute audio and ended up with a video output that was only 0:45 seconds long. There was no mention of this restriction anywhere. Subscription cancelled and definitely NOT recommended.

I think Runway has a lot of potential…

I think Runway has a lot of potential and the video generations are honestly amazing (when they work), but so far it is ridiculously expensive. You have to spend almost $100 usd for unlimited video generations a month. You can use the pro plan for $35 usd, which includes 2250 credits or 7.5 minutes of video generations. However, more than half of the generations don't make any sense or are unusable and the prompts don't really work, you will find yourself throwing credits to the trash. So, ...

RunwayML is disapointing

IMO, Runway ML is terrible. I cant believe I got sucked into paying for 1 yr.. I have images I wanted to create motion in. The motion brush and text prompts are all over the board. Images constantly morph, change color and simple text prompts take on life of their own. Four seconds of video are like blinking your eyes so your points are eaten up pretty quick before you have to buy more. Options are not good for static images. I tried one of their best plans…

I tried one of their best plans 2023-2024. The video generation results were rarely usable. It was pathetic considering how much I paid for the year. Maybe someday, but judging on the results it's probably at least a few years away from being ready for primetime. If you look carefully at their best examples of videos that professionals are generating, they're pretty terrible too.

Think twice before pay a plan

The amount of seconds you can create a video with a standart paid plan is ridiculous. Every time you generate something you don't like, it consumes the same amount of time as if you had downloaded it. You are better off using the free version. A scam.
