"A great productivity tool but may add some lag"

What do you like best about ReSharper? The productivity shortcuts are great. You can refactor code with available shortcuts. There're other features as well like you can check the code coverage of the unit test. Also, the build performed by ReSharper is quick as it only builds projects that've been modified since last build. What do you dislike about ReSharper? My machine isn't that powerful. But, it's still an average machine with i5 processor and fast SSD along with quite a good amount of ...

"ReShaping the way you develop"

What do you like best about ReSharper? One of the best things about resharper has to be the code refactoring. Anyone who has ever had to work in Visual Studio with a big project with a lot of dependencies knows that refactoring is anything but easy, but ReSharper changes that. The on the fly code analysis is another thing I used to use quite a bit when I was starting, seeing how it tells you ways of improving your code What do you dislike about ReSharper? In big projects the code quality ...

"Interesting Tool. Worth the Cost?"

What do you like best about ReSharper? Any tool that makes your code more efficient is a good tool especially if it is truly delivering what is promised. ReSharper can offer insight into code that you may overlook as you develop code especially when you are rewriting logic. For example, as you develop or change your code logic did you set the same value for a variable in both sections of a conditional? Also, some shortcut features/code completion features may make you a more efficient ...

"Awesome tool, bit sluggish"

What do you like best about ReSharper? The sheer amount of refactorings and helper features. Very productive. It allows for code completion, refactoring and a selective build for big solutions. What do you dislike about ReSharper? It is too slow. Sometimes it's impossible to work with it due to the slowness. I have an Intel i7 laptop, 16 GB of RAM. SSD drive and sometimes it would simply freeze Visual Studio. Recommendations to others considering ReSharper: Make sure you have a proper ...

"Useful Features, But a Performance Hog"

What do you like best about ReSharper? Code completion/anticipation; fast access to related classes; finding any symbol in the codebase/dependency libraries using Ctrl-T; code cleanup/suggestions. I like that it makes complex coding easier by analyzing what you have written and suggesting cleaner, more elegant ways to do the same task. What do you dislike about ReSharper?
