Director of a managed review vendor with more than 6 years of experience with Relativity.

What do you like best? I think it is by far the best tool from the admin side. I like the searching functionality and the visualization tools. I also like the documentation and training that is available. Every time I end up having to use another platform I always end up asking if it can do some of the things that Relativity does and the other products always come up short. What do you dislike? Many of the things I used to have on my wish list of things I wanted to be able to do in ...

Relativity Experience

What do you like best? The interface is very intuitive. I like the fact you can build your own applications for reuse. Beyond the program, I really like how every person I've dealt with at Relativity is committed to providing the best user experience possible. What do you dislike? I dislike the price. Also, there's no flexibility if we need to add features to our subscription -- we have to tear up and renew for another three years. It's is extremely difficult to predict what our needs ...

A solid tool for getting work done, and a great platform for development

What do you like best? As a developer, I love that I can leverage Relativity to create powerful applications for our partners to use that don't require extra hardware. What do you dislike? There is a bit of a learning curve when beginning with Relativity development, and there are numerous ways to accomplish a given task and it isn't always clear which approaches are deprecated. Recommendations to others considering the product Don't hesitate to reach out to the Relativity community to ...

My Relativity Experience

What do you like best? I really like the Relativity support. If there is an issue the support team works round the clock to correct the issue along with explaining why the issue happened in the first place. What do you dislike? There isn't much to dislike aside from a few of the known glitches with Relativity. Some of these may be related to local networks though. Recommendations to others considering the product Definitely consider the latest Relativity 1 platform. What business ...

Amazing networking experience

What do you like best? The technical talks were excellent. The hands on sessions were really useful to see how the technology in Relativity could be applied to real time data. The events celebrating the success of the company were well organised and made you feel as though all of the Relativity users are one. What do you dislike? The lack of mobile webinars, there were talks on how to get data from Forensic software from excel into Relativity but there was no mention how you could ...

Sr. Director Solutions

What do you like best? Relativity allows for flexibility to create unique customizations to meet the client's needs. I love the ability to add objects and link them to the documents object to create custom reporting and features for our client's. What do you dislike? It should be more front end user friendly. Many of my clients have been using and seeing other products that are easier for the end user to go in and start working. For example Brainspace is very easy and user friendly to ...

I have been working with Relativity for about 1 year

What do you like best? Users only have access to the files they need to see. It is fully customizable for different teams or workflows. What do you dislike? I have not come across anything specific that I dislike. Any issues I have had in the past have been corrected as new versions/upgrades are made. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our firm is becoming paper-less. This keeps our documents electronic and helps to reduce paper ...

Unparalleled flexibility

What do you like best? The transparency of the platform that allows us to understand and leverage all aspects of the workflow. Customisations give us the ability to differentiate from other providers. What do you dislike? Complexity of setup and quality \ rending of some images produced from pdfs. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are using Relativity to combine and analyse structured and unstructured data. The flexibility of ...

Its a fully featured and robust solution to managing large data

What do you like best? The support at Relativity is the best I have experienced with any platform. The look and feel of Relativity for the end user. What do you dislike? I don't like when including families in a result set, you can't clearly see the original hitting documents vs the extra documents that were bought in because they are family members. It means I have to tag the hits, show the tag on the view, and then bring the families in again to make that analysis. What business ...

Flexible eDiscovery review platform with easier administrative functions

What do you like best? Full flexibility to do a wide variety of functions, while maintaining a fairly easy and consistent approach to administrative tasks; ease of creating your own add-ons via SQL scripts, or even creating Relativity Applications. Filtering on fields is quite user-friendly, and the Field Tree that can provide one-click access to any field designated to be displayed on that list is useful. I like the dashboards in the new UI and the ability to organize (and re-organize ...
