Automation Engineer

What do you like best? Ranorex is a good tool, I use it mainly for desktop applications or integrated desktop applications. It is an efficient tool that allows the team to be divided into developers and testers in such a way that the testers can easily run and see results without knowing how to develop, another thing that is good for interfacing with SVN and Team City. What do you dislike? What I do not like about it is that it requires a lot of maintenance, and a full beam of times that ...

Great Product with potential

What do you like best? During the last year a lot of innovations and great changes were made! Also there is the uservoice site where customers can tell the company which features they would like, which is a great feature and is actively checked for ideas. What do you dislike? That new features are almost always broken for the first few releases (e.g. the maintenance mode did see not exists actions as a fail and would stop. Also the support only has standard answers and no solutions on ...

Simple and fun to use, seamless experience, but also expensive.

What do you like best? It enables automation engineers the ability to write automated tests for different platforms without ever leaving the studio. The Ranorex is reporting which has made our lives easier because unlike having to worry about building a separate reporting tool to plug into your test solutions when using open-source tools, with Ranorex you get that for free. Re-use of modules saves us time, notably. What do you dislike? Apparently, the product licensing is "too" ...

It´s graphical interface, integration of user code modules that are offering great flexibility and very individual user experience, the way variables are used, the idea of Repository, Git integration What do you dislike? There are sometimes some AddOn problems or Ranorex is just crashing, Recorder is having some issues, sometimes with the new version of Ranorex we need to upgrade tests one by one, cannot select single recording- we need to create smart folders for ...
