Solid Platform

What do you like best? I like the simplicity of the UI, the browser options available and the variables system. The amount of information on the tests being run is also valuable. Support and our account manager have always been a pleasure to interact with and I have always gotten timely responses. What do you dislike? Organization options are limited for the tests page. I would like more options for organizing folders. Also the tests results page has limited options for sorting or ...

Manual web app testing via mechanical turk

What do you like best? We have been using Rainforest for over 2 years. It is an affordable way to outsource the manual QA testing of short workflows in our web application. Also excellent support and communication with Rainforest staff, they bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. What do you dislike? There can often be false positives (meaning, a bug or exception is reported when the system is actually working) for some random reasons that have to do with the testers getting ...

Rainforest - Code more and ship faster

What do you like best? Rainforest was a very easy product to implement into our workflow. We went from manually testing to having Rainforest catch bugs we never knew existed. We started to see results from our very first test run. Creating tests take little effort as well. The ability to attach pictures and add gifs make it very helpful for the testers to understand what you want them to do. What do you dislike? Reporting could be a little better but overall we have nothing to ...

Rainforest is the best kept secret in the testing world

What do you like best? Rainforest allows us to automate our UI testing without writing any code. This means that the whole process of writing and maintaining tests is much faster and anyone on the team can do it. Rainforest also comes with a whole infrastructure of machines with every OS/browser combination that we need and runs all our tests in parallel. We can have actual humans run our entire regression suite across as many browsers as we want to and get the results back in an hour or ...

Establish E2E UI Test Coverage Quickly

What do you like best? Writing tests in Rainforest QA is super simple because it's done in plain english and does not require technical expertise, which makes it quick and easy for anyone to get started. The customer support provided through their website via intercom is very responsive 24 hours a day, and the CSMs are friendly and extremely responsive via email as well. What do you dislike? Occasionally the manual testers can be a source of false positives and negatives due to a ...

It's not Amazon, but it's a Rainforest!

What do you like best? It's crowd-sourced application QA, what's NOT to like? What do you dislike? The interfaces were sometimes clunky- like the inability to change the amount of tests listed on a page. But that's a minor inconvenience. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We used RainforestQA to ensure our customer-facing apps, you know, worked.

Best way to do QA

What do you like best? I love that I don't have to hire my own team of people to perform QA. No purchasing multiple devices. No extra HR work! What do you dislike? I wish the platform had lower tiers for less use. Some clients don't need as much QA. Recommendations to others considering the product: Have your product manager run the admin What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Rainforest QA helps Internet and mobile builders test ...

Rainforest QA

What do you like best? The software is super adaptable. The tests are in plain text so everyone can contribute to the quality of the testing. What do you dislike? The tests can return slowly at times, and can be somewhat rigid. We try to use that rigidity to our advantage , by being as strict as RF can be about the answers. Ultimately, it makes us better. Recommendations to others considering the product: Keep up the great work. Expand testing base in the US to decrease latency ...
