A sad fall from grace

I’ve been a customer with Rackspace for around 15 years - a previously amazing company now absolutely ruined by private equity and cost cutting. Up until 2 years ago I would have wholeheartedly given them a 5 star review - but sadly I can no longer. As a customer who had a £120k/annum spend I feel let down and no longer trust them with my business. Good luck cancelling your service with them.

The service ran fine, but when it comes time to actually close out your account, they'll manufacture fake charges to their cloud drive service, and bill you for eternity for $5/mo even though you have no services of any kind with them. When you try to fix the situation and get the account fully cancelled they refuse to do so unless you call in and spend your evening waiting in a hold queue. Stay away from this company, they are unethical.

Unethical organisation trading off past success

Having been a loyal customer for many years, we have seen their offering degrading to the point where they are probably one of the most unethical organisations i have dealt with.Their pricing is no longer competitive, their contracts are extremely unfair towards the customer and their customer service is non existent. My advice, avoid at all costs. There are plenty of competitors which are better and cheaper

The Rackspace I knew is DEAD

I have been a customer of Rackspace for 15 years because of their fanatical support.There is no fanatical support anymore The company I knew is DEAD and been replaced by a bunch of impostors who don't know what they are doing.I hadn't called their support line for quite some time but when I did I discovered that the Rackspace I knew is DEAD.The engineer was asking me how to solve my own problem. I've been a RackSpace customer since…

I've been a RackSpace customer since 2006 and it has really gone downhill. Originally, RackSpace had spectacular service. Now it is a complete sham where they attempt to exact the greatest possible amount from clients without providing any service. I have logged service tickets that go on for months with no resolution. Do not waste your time - there are now many better hosting platforms.

Email solution is poor in the UK...

We recently migrated to Rackspace having had a good experience with servers a few years ago. Unfortunately the email is unusable in the UK - it works for mobile phone but Outlook is extremely slow to update syncronising inbox/sent for over an hour each time Outlook is opened. My last email has been stuck in outbox for 45 mins. Inbox is extremely slow to reflect new emails. I would not recommend this solution to any business. Rackspace Support Stinks

My company has used Rackspace hosted email for around 9 years and their support has gone down the tubes. Their BOT is a joke. And the humans you can contact are not trained to solve anything anymore. All they do is open tickets and hope someone else will fix things. Most recently, I waited over 18 hours for someone to fix an email account (while emails were bouncing) but no one was able to fix it despite multiple attempt to contact them. Please do not use Rackspace

Please do not use this Rackspace. Their IT department is great but their customer service deparment is terrible and unethical. They will bill you after you cancel then tell you that they don't have a cancellation ticket. When you don't pay the balance you shouldn't have been changed, they will send you to collections and ruin your company credit. I've never been more disappointed with a company. Don’t bother with Rackspace

I tried signing up for an account, my account got denied. I call back asking why, they tell me it was an error, they ask me to sign up again, the system won’t let me. I’ve called 3 times trying to get this resolved. No one cares, don’t bother with Rackspace.
