Quite simply- there is zero service.
2 hours hours on hold and I hung up. I cannot wait to leave them. Utterly useless and hopeless organisation. Will be gone by the end of the month and I cannot wait! Quick update. Rackspace said my ticket was resolved. They are liars, they never actually lifted the phone to speak after hours on hold. Cannot wait to leave. Shareholders should fire Subroto Mukerji.

Had Rackspace since 2008 and they were amazing until about two years ago... now it is the absolute worst. If you can get someone in the States, then you are lucky and they solve the issue like the Rackspace support you are familiar with if you have been with the company for a while. If you get someone in India, good luck with that. The team from India is not trained to handle technical support and definitely do not seem to be Linux Engineers. Sinking Ship
Rackspace quality has severely deteriorated over the last 8+ months. I would highly recommend you avoid their service. We are a reseller and their constant issues have hurt the reputation of our company. Their support quality has gone from expert email administrator to human reading scripts. They constantly are blocking legitimate traffic with no possibility of correcting the issue. We had business critical emails lost. NEVER AGAIN USING RACKSPACE
After the price increase on my billing, I decided to close out my account. Turns out they charged me for the entire month that took them to close out my account, and disabled me from talking to anyone about my account. Now its under collection, and they wont talk to me about it nor transfer to me to anyone but the first person I call. I have been using them for over 10 years, I am never again using RackSpace nor referring them to anyone ever again.

Continue to bill you after you leave them
Was with Rackspace for over 4 years, when we decided to leave was an absolute mess of a service - they continued to bill us thousands of pounds on our cards and largely ignore our emails asking to resolve it. My experience is it's very difficult to leave them in an orderly way - it's taking many weeks to sort out.

The email service has been blacklisted…
The email service has been blacklisted by MSN, so it is worthless. They have been trying to fix it for 6+ months.

They dont know anything
I dont what to have to teach your support staff what DNS is ( basic technical thing ) every time I call. Since you moved your support it has been awful, it has forced us to move to AWS. i went though, 1st line, 2nd line, linux support, network security team for a basic issue because the only person who know what DNS was didn't speak English well enough to helpWho ever made that choice doomed this company.

Exceptionally bad service
Exceptionally bad service. was once good, now it's gone from good to bad to exceptionally bad. I've been trying to close this account with Rackspace for over 6 months whilst they kept invoicing me. The customer service staff are unhelpful and none are keen to help, they just tell you to call customer service even though you spoke with them on customer service. And you write a ticket to ask them to help, and they don't even respond in a way that acknowledges they understand what the issue is ...

WAS the best, now just forget it
Rackspace used to be a fantastic hosting service. Now all of their customer service is outsourced/offshored, and the people who handle your support tickets don't know what to do or don't have the power to fix anything. It's hard to believe that this company, once the undisputed market leader, is now like this.

Used to be a great service - not any more. I have been customer for 15 years and my company has many email addresses with them. The problem is that at least some Rackpace servers are blacklisted - so my company's emails don't get through to some domains - hotmail, outlook, live to name a few. They simply bounce telling me that rackspace servers have IP addresses with poor reputation.Ive spent months trying to get help but they are not interested - just send very polite and willing emails ...
