No response to emails
It is very difficult to get Rackspace to answer emails and to get a call back, which they advertise when you're waiting to talk to someone. They blame this on lack of personnel. In my case they called me back a few days after they said they would call me back and when I scheduled a migration of my email account, it took them 9 days to answer my email and at that time they said that the migration got stuck 10 days ago but they just restarted it. Terrible, how can you run a company like that.

Just woefully bad support
Just woefully bad support, cannot even update a payment card either online or by telephone support. Passed from pillar to post after calling UK support number, spoke to nobody in the UK nor anyone who could assist.I have clients using Rackspace for 10+ years, but it's time to abandon a sinking ship.

It was good while it lasted, but time to move on.
I’ve been with them for 15 years. I was actually with webmail.us when rackspace bought them out. Back in the day they were an industry leader for cheap, dependable email. A few years back they were bought out by a private equity firm. Since then their service and support has significantly degraded. About 5 months ago they stopped answering their phones or responding to tickets. I no longer have any confidence with them as an email hosting solution. I've got 800+ email users over a total of ...

Their support is horrible now
Their support is horrible now. Takes days to fix very small server issues. The team is impossible to understand and they do not comprehend what you are asking. Ready to move over my 20+ clients to another service who has support.

Fanatical support is a lie
I'm fed up and I am leaving rackspace to never return.I was with them for 10+ years (from the time they took over mailtrust.com) and it works if you have no problems. But when there's a problem, you're mostly on your own.The "fanatical support" is a lie.Tickets don't get answered anymore. Long time Rackspace customer ready to leave
Another long time Rackspace customer here who will be leaving soon. Fanatical support is now no support. We've been with Rackspace for our business email for more than a decade, but this was the last straw. For five days now, the support department has been unreachable - no chat, no phone response (I will only wait on hold for 45 minutes), and no response to an email ticket. Heartbreaking..
Heartbreaking. Another long-term user and reseller - almost 15 years now - that has watched Rackspace support go from the best, most immediate response and knowledgeable people to four, five hour delays and largely unintelligible outsourced staff who seem to have extremely limited abilities, either technically or in terms of access to information. These people are full of sh!t
These people are full of sh!t. You like spam? They are the culprit of it all. They are a bunch of wanna-be's that just man phones and cheap coded data for their billing etc. My stools have more substance than these tick turds! I have stains in my drawers older and wiser than each and every one of them. Soon we take them down permanently! Foreigners that just want to scam us all. Karma is coming to them in the form of they will owe (US) money!

Where did it all go wrong
It looks like the usual complaint about Rackspace. Long term customer only having excellent service and then suddenly out of nowhere support just disintegrates in front of your very eyes. It can't be the "Rackers", you'd have found Fanatical tattooed right through the middle if you cut then in half. Presumably this fall from grace probably lies in the short term outsourcing/ profit mentality of the body corporate, but even Geoffrey Epstien's free fall took longer than its taking these guys ...
