No longer the industry leader
What do you like best? Quark has always been easy to use. The design, organization and interface is very clean and well thought out making the overall use smooth and easy to learn. It was designed as page layout software and has always done that well. What do you dislike? I began using Quark when Pagemaker dropped the ball years ago. After Adobe began taking the lead I quickly realized that they had created software that was more versatile with smoother transitions into other programs for ...

Who Still Uses Quark Xpress
What do you like best? It familiarity. it was the first page layout program that I used What do you dislike? It is antiquated on not fully integrated to into the Adobe Creative Suite programs. There is not an image editing program that goes along with it, What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? None that I can think of. It does not make sense to buy this as a stand alone program, especially when InDesign is part of the Adobe CC

What do you like best? One of the all time favorites. Was introduced to it in college and have been using it ever since. Very quick and easy to use when creating layouts for flyers, brochures, books, magazines and more. I really like how they added the HTML5-based App Studio tools in the 2015 version. What do you dislike? Only thing I had a problem with was with version !0. There were issues with crashing. Also the image previews were normally distorted/not displaying correctly. The Image ...

QuarkXPress Review
What do you like best? I would say ease of use, but still this is a matter of preference. I was trained to use Quark, as I earned my Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Graphic Design. I studied hard, and got really efficient at, so it's easy for me to go in and quickly do what I want with Quark. Two-thirds, through my college study, the professor started teaching us InDesign. The master has become the student
What do you like best? The software allows expansive control for all of your publishing needs. But the difficulty in use may trump any positives. What do you dislike?
