Muy buen programa de maquetacion y composicion
What do you like best? Es un gran programa, muy versatil y fácil de usar, intuitivo y accesible a los que se sumergen por primera vez en él. A less user-friendly version of Adobe InDesign
What do you like best? Quark allows you to create layouts that work well with multiple pages. The text link tool between boxes is useful when including long amounts of text. The runaround tool is helpful when using photos in a document with text, as it allows you to set a specific distance between the photo and the text around it. What do you dislike? Trying to buy upgrade to product is a nightmare
Trying to buy upgrade to product, costs around £460 yet, their site is full of problems, they never answer phones and certainly do not return sales emails.Awful company to deal with considering they charge £725 plus vat for full version and £349 or £345 plus vat for upgrade software (although they are not sure of pricing on website as it depends which part of page you readFor this money they offer the worst service ever

Quark makes page design simple
What do you like best? Quark is user-friendly. It is easy for a new user to learn because the tool bars are fairly self-explanatory. What do you dislike? This is being pretty picky but many of the shortcut key combinations are multiple key combinations, and it would seem it could be done more simply. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows us to get the paper out in a timely fashion.

I love Quark
What do you like best? I love that I can see all my type adjustments in one place and can adjust in smaller increments by holding down the option key. What do you dislike? I dislike that it's not really competing with Adobe InDesign and that many designers don't use it. Time to ramp of advertising and get it out there and a contender again before it dies. Decent program, but I still prefer InDesign
What do you like best? I really like that you can split your project into different parts so that multiple people can work on different parts a large project at once and then easily import all parts back into one file when it is finished and ready to publish. What do you dislike? They still haven’t seemed to have resolved the crashing issues. These crashes have been a problem for years. I don’t know why they wouldn’t have worked these bugs out by now. Good for simple layouts and print design
What do you like best? I like the ability to turn off certain sections for output What do you dislike? I dislike the variety of user friendly features Quark is missing vs Adobe. I like the multiple flyout menus in Indesign, I have trouble finding everything I need in the single bar at the bottom of the screen. Learning experience
What do you like best? Working with Quark has its pros and cons, for the pros I would boil it down to it's text-link/wrapping, which is always great. Along with the master pages which are a dream come true when you have a book you are compiling of over 200 pages. And also the other seemingly simple pros like character styles, paragraph styles, which really keep everything cohesive. It saves time by having these. What do you dislike? What do you like best? Once you master the keyboard shortcuts, workflow is a breeze. It is easy to create multiple doucments quickly. What do you dislike?
