Have used Quark for many years and prefer it to InDesign
What do you like best? I'm just beginning to use Quark2018, and I'm liking the quick ways to manipulate text and graphics boxes on the menu bars at the bottom. At first I missed my key commands (upgraded from Quark 8.5, but I'm learning to love the new box interfaces. What do you dislike? Quark Xpress 2018
What do you like best? I use Quark since version 3.3 for Mac. and never switched to InDesign. And now Quark 2018 is out. What a great software it is. Quark 2018 may not have some features ID have. But that is not the point. The way you work with Quark is super, smooth and with no problems at all. No font issues, some have. I like Quark easy to use and easy to navigate
What do you like best? I find it's much easier to use than earlier versions. This version navigates much easier between fonts tabs importing etc. Also I like the easy access to tutorials. Excelent prepress tool for modern publishing
What do you like best? Completing project with one tool, in one software ecosistem. Working with text, pictures and vectors, and inporting PDF with conversion to native objects is most exciting capabilities of new quarkXpress 2018. What do you dislike? Complicate native import of multipage PDF. Extensions solve problems, but natevely you have to import page by page. It is time consuming. QuarkXPress best layout software
What do you like best? QuarkXPress version 2018 is ideal for all layout work. Quark is simply the best solution for powerful layout and publishing
What do you like best? Since the 1980s, I have liked the Quark interface and "box" approach to layout. What do you dislike? Quark review
What do you like best? I find Quark far more user friendly and intuitive than competitor software. Creating books in particular is a much easier process. What do you dislike? The thing I dislike is not being able to search for straight quote/speech marks and replace them with curly quote/speech marks. The new QuarkXpress 2018
What do you like best? I personally decided to give QuarkXpress a new try back with version 8. Primarily because they offered me a good deal with my old and abandoned version 3. I saw some interesting new development there, but it was a cumbersome version. So I sticked with Adobe InDesign. Also with Version 9 and also 10.
