The best writing editor there is. The best alternative to Grammarly.

What do you like best? The web editor - the variety of dimensions in which you get to edit your text - style, grammar, repeats, diction, transition, etc. It not edits your text for you. Over a period of time you just learn to write better because the editor also gives you overall and specific insights on your writing. What do you dislike? There is nothing I dislike about the editor. It's fantastic. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's the best alternative ...

Came over from Grammarly

What do you like best? I like the deep analysis of my writing that ProWrting Aid offers. If you can find a coupon on line, you can get great deals on ProWriting Aid. What do you dislike? The interface is a bit clunky, but it is functional. Recommendations to others considering the product: I suggest using the free version for awhile, and keep an eye out for special offers. ProWriting Aid offers great deals from time to time. What problems are you solving with the ...

Incredible Software. Best in its Class

What do you like best? ProWriting Aid has many great features, and it’s constantly improving. I love its readability analysis, spelling, and grammar checker. In fact, I like ProWriting Aid analysis more than I liked Grammarly’s. What do you dislike? I wish ProWriting Aid would provide a Microsoft Office add-on for Mac users. They have an add-on for Windows users. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ProWriting Aid is my favorite ...

Perfect for Writing Revision

What do you like best? My favorite part about this is there is a free version that my students can use at school. I want a tool that sudents can have and use as they move through high school and on to college writing. It is time consuming for me to read their writing at such a close level, and they are not yet adept enough at writing to do it for each other. I like the wummary reports that you get on a piece of writing. What do you dislike? Some of the features only work with the ...

Awesome!

What do you like best? This is an amazing extension. It has amazing features that help me a lot. What do you dislike? The only bad thing is that if you want the good stuff, you need to copy and paste into a new document in My Home for ProWritingAid What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It made me realize how much more there is to writing than just grammar and spelling

A advanced writing suggestions app that works well

What do you like best? I like using the ProWritingAid in their website. I can pull it up within seconds and start writing within their editor without any fuss. I also like their editing tool that we can use as an extension to our text editing applications. It works very smoothly with Google Docs and gives me suggestions that are no where to be seen in standard text editor spell checking features. What do you dislike? It can be distracting sometimes to use ProWritingAid. There are ...

Handy spell check and writing assistant application

What do you like best? It is mostly simple and straightforward to use ProWritingAid. New users can sign up quickly and start using ProWritingAid on their website or through an app extension with common word processing applications like Microsoft Word and Google Docs. I can get spelling and text editing suggestions that are more advanced than the basic spell check features in the word processing applications I use such as Microsoft Word. What do you dislike? I have mostly benefited ...

All of our teams' writing has improved with ProWritingAid

What do you like best? ProWritingAid is such a simple application to use, either on its own or as an app extension. It's almost like something that works automatically to train us with our writing. Many of the text editing software that we use are very similar to the main ProWritingAid app, so I like that we don't have to do anything overly complicated to learn how to use it. The quality of the writing and style suggestions have been helpful and substantive. They go beyond simple ...

A super writing tool that watches over me

What do you like best? ProWritingAid has excellent automated proofreading capabilities. Rather than just being a simple spell check solution, ProWritingAid can help me consider different and potentially more effective writing styles, sentence structure, grammar and word selection. Using ProWritingAid is seamless when I use standard text editing software or a web browser. I like the way the writing suggestions appear, which doesn't get in the way or bother my writing. What do you ...
